Pictures of your latest ride

an almost perfect uni-day: some street in the morning and some muni in the afternoon (unfortunately at the muni part, my super grippy, lightweight and expensive pedal broke…)

on the pics: andi, tj (turtle junior), turtle

wow! lol

Nice pick

All you people are amazing lol

From this morning. I was tearing around this section at a pretty high speed, and I was ducking so I wouldn’t snag my camera, which was perched above me on a tree. I guess I didn’t duck quite enough; my back pack clipped it, and it came crashing down, headfirst! Luckily still works! :o

Hoppy Easter!

Here’s a picture of the Unicycling Easter Bunny doing, what else, bunny hops! I got to entertain the kids at a family Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by my office at the University of North Carolina Saturday morning. And to think this is part of my job - what a life!

Ghaahk! :astonished:

It might be bunnies!

Some of my pictures shot few days ago…

Awesome pics! Especially the North Shore ones.

Agreed!

Some images of today, and my ‘hill’ to follow up from previous comments
Can be quite a b*tch to get up some days :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry for the bad quality of them, my phone was still on macro, not the greatest at the best of times but it’s always with me!

Mowcius

Mount Snowdon

Mount Snowdon, UK. Made it 2/3rds of the way up but it was becoming too icy and I was on my own this time. Picture taken just below halfway cafe.

oops

Here is one from last wednesday.

A hiker snapped these photos on the trail yesterday and sent them to my buddy. Johnson Ranch just South of San Luis Obispo.

It’s not a very extreme trail, but this is one of the tamer sections.

looks like a wonderful place to ride. so scenic

Yes! Especially when the wildflowers are in bloom. I just have to watch out for cows on the lower part of that trail. But the cattle gates are fun obstacles to try to get past! San Luis Obispo has this great chain of peaks called the Nine Sisters.

Can you ride to the top of all nine peaks? Does it stay green, being coastal, or does it brown in the summer?

edit: Oh. I found this upon a little investigation:

Below are the peaks which can be accessed by the public.

Black Hill - Morro Bay State Park
Cerro Cabrillo - Morro Bay State Park
Bishop Peak - Bishop Peak Natural Reserve
Cerro San Luis Mountain - Maino Open Space Area
Islay Hill - off Tank Farm Road
Cerro Romauldo - with permission from Camp San Luis

Thanks for the info! It usually browns in the Summer, but we’ll see with the way the weather’s been. I’m looking forward to exploring the trails around here and within maybe a 200 mile radius (SF to LA).
