Wales has lots of castles
…and here’s another. Harlech Castle in Gwynedd, North Wales. Cruising past on the 36 and stopped for a photo-op.

haha nice Cody.
Not my latest ride, but I found this pic on the web. They called it, "Cheerful Rider’. It was taken along the Hudson River Walkway.

Nice, Ken!
Hi, a pic out of todays ride… but after this what have happened, no uni on it…
In memory of Lech Kaczynski, President of Poland, his wife and all the others who died today:
So sorry to hear of your loss… ![]()
An epic three-trail tour at Aliso Woods today. Found this guy smack in the middle of the trail, and would have likely become road kill if I hadn’t stopped and put him back in the brush. Very healthy gopher snake about 4 feet long.
^
i have a stairset exxxxxxxactly like that close to my house! but i cant ride down it because there is a big oak tree limb very low hanging over it…even walking down them you gotta duck.
awwww
<3
A still frame from the new video I’m working on. It was beautiful out today and perfect for filming.
And another! Look out, Brian Oley picks up where Brian MacKenzie left off.
The middle of a sweet launch with huge distance and well over a foot of air.
Some more photos of yesterday trip:
some mud for a start
and then calm stroll in the beautiful valley
but then the storm came…
it got me wet, but fortunately I found some shelter so it wasn’t that bad
Where are you riding in these great photos Brian? I’ve been Cokering a bit the last few days, hoping to head to the Fells next weekend when they open.
awesome pics. i really like the last one
Nice pictures everybody! The 36er downhill on rock looks great, Brian! I’m curious about your video.
I joined two other local geared 36" riders for a little ride in the woods today. The weather was not great but it was nice to ride with other unicyclists once again. (The last time was last summer in Liechtenstein…)
Here’s a picture of the three of us:

I was actually in part of the fells, it looked pretty legit to ride to me. I didn’t know there was an official date.
Thanks! It’s actually going to be a series of three videos done over the summer. Each one will be focused exclusively on coker muni and coker street riding (and I don’t mean just riding on the street).
A beautiful day for a ride. I got tired of putting in big miles on the flats in training for the century in May. So today was just fun riding up into the watershed.
Snow blocked my path about 10 km up the road.
On the way down I took a break in a grove of madrone trees.
A few km down and the manzanita were already in full bloom.
I’ve been hearing rumors of a mountain lion making itself known in the area in the past few weeks. No reason to doubt them anymore. Saw some very furry mountain lion poop on the road. (I never thought I’d be posting a pic of poop, but here goes.) I wonder what was for lunch. Coyote, rabbit, squirrel? I hope the mountain lions are scared of spandex and neon clothing.
Geoff
(Did you notice how I finished the pics with the pretty flowers and not the poop? Pretty classy of me, huh?)
