Good to see one wheel tech being used to get someone out of danger, rather than our version which is often seen as putting someone into danger.
However I think with the right rider it has the makings of a whole new category - the brake-controlled downhill freewheel recumbent unicycle!
(just rather a high entry price point for learning)

A recumbent unicycle just might be the most insane thing I have ever heard. :joy:

That is crazy!

MUNI setup, downhill mountain runs…

best part, you’re already strapped in, if you crash…

Today i had a beautidul ride with my 29" Muni. Yes it’s make some noising. The Bearings, Brake Pads and the Pedal and i think maybe the Spokes . It doesn’t run very well at the moment but i don’t know where comes the noosing from with part of the wheel. I don’t have a realy good timetable to fix the problems from the unicycle. My Timetable says: Work, Work, Work…

Yesterday was my last ride with my 24" Muni. The Weather was not to wet and it was warm and sunny.

At the top of the Oslo Opera house. You are not allowed cycle up here but I do it all the time.

Indeed I am the Strava “Local Legend” for the ride up there, since I have done it more than anyone else on Strava in the last 3 months

P.S. Ignore the average grade that Strava lists (-1.9%). Not sure where Strava pulls that from. It is actually more like 10+%. Here is a video from one of the times I rode up (@PedalSprell is filming).

How about everesting the Oslo opera house?

My local CX series holds a 6-pack Black Friday distance event on the course at the end of the season. This year I decided to bring out the muni and give it a go. I entered the 50k category which ended up being about 20 laps. Conditions weren’t too bad, a little muddy and slick in areas but for the most part I was able to take my normal lines.

That’s really cool, how long did it take you ?

My total elapsed time with food breaks and hanging out was 6:15 and my actual saddle time was a little under 5 hours. I was satisfied with my pace considering the conditions. We had a heavy rain the night before so I wasn’t really sure what to expect.
