Looking for detailed RH Reeder pics and measurements

Hey everyone,

I just got my nimbus II 26, swapped the tire for a hookworm, chromag pedals and upgraded to a KH street saddle. I’m planning on having a RH Reeder inspired handle fabricated at a local shop. Does anyone have detailed pictures and measurements for a RH Reeder?

wanted - right handed reeder!

here’s your measurements. [image] [image] [image] have fun with it. that last piece is around 3.5 inches long, tip to tip, and the angle is kind of a wierd compound angle. you’ll have to adjust that piece slightly.

Yes. You read the title right. I have in my possession a right handed reeder handle. Original, in great shape. Also i have a Maggie V brake adaptor mount (i think that’s what it is) and some other mounts for maggie hydraulic brakes. Oh, and some of those nifty pedal protectors in a sort of metallic green. I don’t ride as much as i should and i took the handle off after i landed 360 spins so i can use a safer handle for flatland. I may be interested for trades for a nice thin street/trials sad…

RH reeder? and other seat compatibility questions

Hi everyone, I am just trawling for some advice about whether or not my prospective seat set up will work. Firstly i am wondering if anyone makes a Reeder type handle for RH riders? I’ve had a look around and only found LH makes of the handle. From the pictures i have seen i wonder what makes the handle specific to LH riders anyway? It looks to me that the handle runs perpendicular to the orientation of the seat (not favoring one hand over the other) and that the mounting ‘arm’ is out of the w…

I’m finding this post a little confusing as the links go back many years and the photos have photo bucket overlays that make viewing difficult. It has definitely peaked my curiosity.

A brief search has shown that a Reeder is a handlebar design that dates 20 years ago (it’s fascinating how this forum ages and these historical gems are so well kept).

Air Seat with Left handed Reeder handle

Hi all, For sale is 1 Left handed Reeder handle and an air seat. This was put together and purchased from forum member “Beener” a couple years ago. I believe the Reeder handle was discontinued several years ago ut was known as a super solid handle, great for muni (correct me if I’m wrong). I have never used it, though it seems as if it was used in the past. Still in good shape though. I could do $50 CDN OBO plus shipping. [image]

It’s connected to the saddle base with 3 screws:

Due to the asymmetric design, it has both left-hand and right-hand variants.
