Yes, it’s a real pain. It’s probably a combination of things. An ultrasound revealed severe inflammation in my wrists, possibly related to rheumatism. I had problems with them two or three years ago due to overuse. I was working 11-hour shifts and had to carry and move heavy things (cast iron molds). It slowly got better, but now it seems to be coming back. Then there’s my darned left shoulder (not the one I had surgery on), which is incredibly painful and makes me immobile. I tore a biceps tendon there about 15 years ago. Did I overuse it when I had to rest my right shoulder last year? And then there’s my right knee, which has been a problem since 2000, but I’ve managed it well so far. Now everything seems to be happening at once, along with other things like shoulder and back pain. Sometimes my buttocks or groin hurt, and other days it might be somewhere else entirely. I’m pretty much at a loss right now. What definitely helps: anti-inflammatory painkillers. They’re good for managing the symptoms, but the point is to get to the root of the problem. Well, if it really is a titanium allergy, it should be getting much better by now, since the material has been out for six weeks. As if things weren’t bad enough, I had water damage in the warehouse on Tuesday evening. Luckily, I had the most important things on pallets and they stayed dry, but other heavy boxes were standing in water. And when you’re already injured and in pain, you don’t need that kind of crap on top of it.
Might be a dumb idea, but depending on how your mobility and strength are affected, would it be interesting considering an exoskeleton (well, of course, there’s the price)?
Especially @MadHatchetAndy’s posts.

@Raddreher @Canapin I upgrade my E-legs to the Hypershell X Carbon, 1.8kgs, 800watts pwr output, 1 horse pwr 3 D formed Carbon fibre legs, Titanium frame (it does not contact the skin anywhere). All weather Aquatex inner harness and leg straps.
Uni app setting good to go.
Prototype: Carbon Battery shield finished.
Prototype: Flame and Heat retardent battery shield. Rated to 3000oF
Ciip on harness and back pack ready
Clip on Rugsack ready.
All essential for a bit of muni or uni.
My only concern, is the very powerful Lithium battery, getting a knock or damage, as this sits on your lower back. Either exploding or bursting into flames, Lithium burns very hot as therma runaway occurs. The fire and heat redardent pad is good for 20-25 seconds at 2800oF plenty time to get the exo off.
@Raddreher send me a friend request on fb then you can view all my videos on the Exoskeleton and unicycling so far. It works very very well indeed. Now its perfect ![]()
