I’ve been searching the web for a video or a meme but nothing… in Succession Season 4, EP6, Shiv comments her brother’s performance on stage “Ken is riding the bullshit unicycle”. This made my day when I saw it…
So I just got back from a weeks holiday in Portugal. Sadly I did not have any unicycles with me but I did find this at Cape St. Vincent, which is the most South Westerly point in mainland Europe (known in the past as ‘the end of the world’).
It also happens to be the start of a roughly 200km cycle route along the Atlantic coast of the Algarve. This is the 0km marker. Future unipacking holiday? Bizarrely this was my wife’s suggestion and not mine, although the thought had already crossed my mind!
EDIT it turns out the EV1 Atlantic Coast route covers the WHOLE Atlantic coastline of Europe all the way to Scandinavia and is more like 11000km in total. That is quite a trip!

Yes, I am on the European Divide Trail. It also started at Cape St. Vincent, currently in Lycksele, Sweden and about 1300 km left to go.

So that would mean you already did more than 6000km, that’s insane! (in the best way possible)

By coincidence I met Sylvain - the guy who’s currently doing a monstrous 3000km unipacking tour from France to Estonia - a few days ago when he stopped by at the European Juggling Convention. And even he was of the opinion you where at a far different level, with the distance you cover and the speed you do it at.

Hi Becky, Paul in Prescott, Arizona here. My neighbor’s just returned from Denmark. She was Bikepacking the European Divide trail and she saw a 29’er on the Oxen Trail a few weeks ago. I wonder if that was you?
