I’d love to ride but alas, I’m seldom in Michigan.
If you’re headed to Utah lemme know.

Oh, you don’t want to come to Michigan for unicycling : P
As luck would have it though, I will be in California September 10th-21st for the lake tahoe century ride (12th) and the san francisco unicycle meet (20th) I’m not sure what we’re up to that week yet in between… I’ll keep you posted. : ) Staying with Nathan I think. O.o idk what the heck is going on yet… I’m just along for the ride. It’s my first trip out there for this event
Finally, I got my babies delivered last Thursday !!!
Today is re-assembling session.
Just for the fun of it, I also took a pic of the creative storage strick I used on some tires. From the inside out: 24x3.0, 24x4.0 & 26x4.0 (the Duro was folded only for the pic).
My 22" unicycle with custom Flansberrium frame.
Took forever to get the wheelset complete due to original Koxx hubs not being real isis, rebuilding with new KH spirit hubs that then had an issue. Third times the charm however.
What riding are you planning for this, hockey?
Yes I have hockey in mind. I have 102mm cranks on it. If I feel they are too short I have 110mm Spirits to try
I am using the winter time to recycle a wire-bead Larry by studding it with set-screws (bottom part).
It is way slower than I thought it would but fortunately I am in no rush ![]()
I’ve been running mine backwards on the powder and it’s been pretty good. I do think the Nate is going to be the tire of choice in the future. Studding it sounds like it would be awesome.
Upgraded 29 from muni to uni
I decided to go full road uni from my muni .. still got the 26 for muni.
It is so light and awesome .. love the SuperMoto tire … :)![]()
^^^^ It looks really nice!
The colors look great.
Got my treat to celebrate my 10th year of riding. I have to drop it at the shop for a proper build…
@Juan M: you got lucky. They messed up on my order and got the sticker colored instead of the rim
But it is still a nice rim ![]()
Very nice rim Sid ![]()
They do not paint 29" 40mm rims, you have to specifically ask them to do it. It cost a little bit more.
If you asked them, you can send it back.
The rim is awesome and very happy with it, so light. It is hard to mount and dismount a tire because carbon is very stiff. Use soapy water or window cleaner ![]()
I built the wheel, is not that difficult .. a bit of patience
I have paid the extra $5 for the custom paint and had some exchange with them to confirm the order.
I know they would replace it but Customs were already annoying and expensive and I feel unlucky enough to have it again like that. ![]()
It is a very nice looking rim and I can’t wait to ride it…
What hub is that?
Looks like a kh spirit.
Nice wheels guys!
I don’t think Sid’s is a KH Spirit because the flanges are small. Here’s mine with a KH Spirit hub. I built this one with help from an experienced wheel builder.
Indeed you are correct.
Looks like something trialsy. Impact?
