Amen.
Still, the lever will remain the most exposed brake component. It or the brake line can always get caught during a crash if you’re unlucky (less so in a skatepark than in the indoor b!ke park of your video). Many riders do not perfectly tighten the clamp of the brake lever, so it can move rather than break in case of an impact.

Damn - that’s a really serious collection and hope they go to someone who will ride the pants of them…
so after paying 420 pounds for the frame + 500 for the wheel, you also need to spend 250 pounds on the ugly seat… That is very costly.
I should just get the wheel and turn it into a BC Wheel.
You’d have to make sure you were wearing very thick trousers with that tyre!

Thinking this may be a joke - my first impression was “that’s impossible to ride,” but I’ve always been impressed by people who can ride those tiny bicycles; could a contortionist handle something like this? It makes my knees hurt just looking at it - 
So this thing popped up for sale not too far from me for a whopping $30… Anybody have thoughts??

UPDATE: I asked about the wheel size and it’s a 20" wheel. Looks like cotterless cranks too? So I’m not sure realistically how much use I’ll get out of it other than having it as a curiosity.
Certainly looks interesting. Suspension frame, are there rim brakes too?

alas no, just the arch to keep both sides of the fork aligned.
Definitely looks like cotterless cranks and pressed bearings so you’re not going to be putting that fat tyre to use. I’m sure you used to be able to buy these on Amazon/Ebay.
Also, that saddle screams discomfort!
So I ended up buying the mystery suspension unicycle 
I figured $30 was too good of a deal to miss, plus who knows when I’d ever get another opportunity to find another suspension unicycle. I’m still kicking myself over not picking up a Mongoose Squid a while back…
I’ll go over the uni in the Post a picture of your unicycle(s) thread when I get done cleaning it and making sure things are properly sorted.

I’d bet that’s a 16” and it’s 30” from the ground to the seat.

Let’s argue that Goodwill know absolutely what they’re selling and make no mistakes - looking at the front on image:
- The height of the wheel is about 750px
- The pedal to seatpost clamp distance is 920px
- The saddle is around 100px it currently tops out 300px above the clamp
So, if 750px is 30" then the unicycle is setup for an inseam of 48.8". Assuming a 2.2:1 height to inseam ratio, this unicycle is setup for someone 8’11" tall (107.36"). The minimum rider height would be 7’6" with the seatpost slammed. Maybe Robert Wadlow, the Alton Giant was secretly into unicycling and this has been carefully concealed from the public for nearly the past century. Who knows, the unicycle is no good for anyone that wouldn’t fit in with the tallest NBA players.
I have no reason why I’ve just done this but it felt thoroughly satisfying…
