Yup, all of the above. I’ve been an eBayer for long enough to have had my fair share of bad experiences.
The KH20 in question is not new, it’s just been well looked after over the years and not ridden nearly as much as it should have been (I’m ashamed to admit). If it doesn’t make the sale, I may consider other options when re-listing.
My apologies to those who are too far away to make the collection.
That is a very good looking unicycle. Make sure you don’t sell it too cheap… KH unicycles are really expensive if bought brand new and yours looks in really good condition… I would say it is probably worth quite a bit (obviously less than a brand new one though).
Don’t forget KH unis have improved features over the years.
Most notably of recent times, the forged hub. Though it is debated whether the in between hub (sometime prone to creaking) was really an improvement over the one on this model.
There are definite advances in the construction of the crown with an expanded seat tube.
The later Spirit cranks are lighter but some trials riders still prefer the shape of the Moments.
I wouldn’t hesitate for a microsecond at this price if I had the opportunity to buy it. It is an absolute bargain, especially in this condition. Anyone who tried to haggle would be an idiot unworthy of owning it.
Yes, it’s an older model (hard to tell what year), but looks to be perfectly seviceable for riding around the neighborhood. Especially for the $50 price tag. I wouldn’t recommend it for hard riding, like muni or trials.
I have one that’s similar to this. It looks like it’s in good condition and as Lance says worth the $50 price tag. It’s most likely cotterless (vs. ISIS), comparable to their Club model.
