ℹ Post Unicycles for sale on other sites here!

Guessing that most likely the name is more appealing to non-English speakers…

Yeah funny name. I came across these unicycles while planning my trip to Denmark. Seems like it’s the most common unicycle offered on European websites. I was considering purchasing a unicycle rather than bring one along but in the end it was easier to bring one along.

BTW, did you give up on Strava?

OK, thanks, I hadn’t seen that one before. It looks like a decent enough unicycle anyway.

Yeah, pretty much. The statistics weren’t doing it for me. I’d find myself riding when I didn’t want to, or not riding when I wanted to because I was waiting to do a ride that looked better on Strava. Not having the intended effect… How’s things over there?

Well you’ve got to do what works for you. Glad you’re still riding and hanging around the forum.

It’s pretty much the same plus new riders although I haven’t been very good at keeping up with everyone even though I’m still recording miles every week. My idling hasn’t gotten much better

But that shipping…

Decent enough Nimbus for $100 OBO, but don’t fail to notice the $104.76 shipping.

And may not ship to UK.

This is something else… looks like a Jeep and a unicycle had a baby.

Style over function. What a knee killer.

Tell me about this uni. I am not considering buying it but it is a curiosity.

I have been messaging the seller to know more about it. I have ideas about what it is and suggested he ask about it here. He said he bought it from the US unicycle.com and is definitely a KH.

I have also advised that he corrects the name. Errors like that irk me.

It is a 2004 Kris Holm Unicycle I am fairly sure. They used to have a very different frame design. Do not buy it for $400. I put it in the crap unicycles for sale on other sites thread. It is steel, not aluminium, heavy frame, heavy wheelset, heavy cranks, heavy hub.

The cranks look original which means its almost certainly not ISIS meaning if you break cranks/hub you are then having to buy a new hub or crank as well as whatever you broke.

I messaged him and said that $400 is way too much for a 14 yr old unicycle

Yes, the unicycle equivalent of a bulldozer. I explained the details of it being obsolete to him and suggested a collector might like it but it wasn’t something for the usual rider.

I suspect he has seen the KH26 for $400 and thought his uni was in the same league.

Lol I’m glad you messaged him also. He said he’d take $300 for it. I don’t think he understands that though you paid full price for something at some point

  1. It depreciates with use and time
  2. It becomes less state of the art over time
  3. In a niche market such as Unicycles finding potential buyers who are willing to pay high prices is very hard.

I’ve bought a maybe 1 year old impact gravity got $250 second hand and an almost one year old kh26 with disc brake for $400. And this is 13 years old and a tank…

I have somewhere in storage an older KH trials unicycle. I acquired this back in 2004 and even then it was already a few years old. The cranks are ISIS and about as heavy as one would imagine. This was back when they only came in orange and where manufactured by Norco (sponsored Kris early on). I suspect my old uni is worth more in parts than as a complete unit.

Although splined, I don’t think they would be ISIS. Looks like an Onza hub.

Pretty sure the onza non ISIS hub was used up until at least 2005

2005-2006 was the KH Onza, in 2007 the Moments came out I’m pretty sure. Before 2005 it was KH Splined (8 splines) or people were riding Profile Racing hubs (48 Splines).

$450 for a three wheeler from the Unicycle Factory. Built with love in 1992. I’m not sure if it’s a good deal or not. It should last forever, but a shiny new one from UDC is about the same price. Picture injection, anyone? I is no good at the internets.

3 wheels

Riding a 3 wheel with someone on your shoulders, just wow! Very cool. And yes huge quality for the money from T.U.F. the next generations to come will still enjoy Tom Miller’s cool stuff!
