Pictures of your latest ride

First snow

Hello,
so in this winter we have the first snow. Nice hour and a half riding on my oracle 24" muni in the local forest park (Bělský les). I am mud covered from toes to ears :).

One day of snowing was enough to make Polish mountains even more fantastic place to ride  I didn’t have time for a long trip but did one descend in Zakopane assisted by my wife walking down and taking the pics

tires

What do you use for a tire? Any major problems with traction?..looking to do some snow riding this year…

I was using Hans Dampf and the traction was better than on my 5.10 shoes  But still there was plenty of times my tire was sliding, which was also fun

Yesterday morning I snuck out for a quick bit of light muni at Bayfront Park near my home while waiting for the wife. The trails were a bit muddy but the weather was nice and the park looks a lot prettier than during the dry summer.

I took the 29er out for a ride today at Middlesex Fells bike loop. Roots & rocks were a bit slippery but it was fun to be out and ride

Cannot say for now how much traction to get from a Knard as it wasn’t a good day for any tire :stuck_out_tongue: But it behaves in a predictable manner and it was a pleasure riding it on wet rocks

20 mile ride

Took the christmas preset out for a ride!
36" Nightfox

@Markus, nice to see so much green on the photos.
For the exchange I got one nice snapshot from yesterday’s ride. I like the thread on my tire on this photo, it totaly does not look like Hans Dampf

12 mile round trip (longest to date)

Some pics from my longest ride to date on a uni, 12 miles roundtrip on paths, dirt trail, and TONS OF TRAFFIC (just got a 36" 8 days ago).

rocks are hidden under a thick layer of leaves : better have a fat tire with low pressure …
“brouf” and me in the woods:

Looks like you’re tripping over a dog or something :open_mouth:

Great pics though

It’s at the end of this. The turn and little rise on the way to the bridge got my tired legs. LANDED ON FEET THOUGH!!!

Beautiful long ride along the Monterey coast. Taking advantage of this weather until I get back to freezing Oregon!!

Nice scenery!!! Looks like a great ride

the difficult part is not to fall while trying to spot sea otters :stuck_out_tongue: (and some funny birds too )

That’s definitely true! There are a lot of whales out right now. I kept looking for them, which I learned very quickly is a dumb thing to do on a small trail packed with tourists. I also learned that it’s a good thing people love unicycles, otherwise I would have looked like a jerk as everybody yielded to me.

Winter it is!

Here are pictures of my last two rides:

  • first two pictures: from Poland (from the beautiful Gory Swietokrzyskie) - a pretty technical trail, lots of very angular stones and quite steep in places. Not much snow, but very bad one (heavy, sticky, leading to ice on the pedals - not recommended :o). Rode on my good old trusty 24".

  • last four pictures: from Denmark near Copenhagen. Beautiful day and great fresh and light snow. Very much X-country trail - not steep, but flowy and fun single track for the most part. Rode with my 36".

Teddy

(hopefully) rotated pictures… :o

If this has not worked, oh well, turn your head (or your monitor for the less flexible ones)

Today 12km snow muni on my home trails. Pretty perfect snow conditions, great ride but poor (celly) photos.

Rob’s Ride

I had some great fun this past weekend riding with friends up in Santa Cruz. On Sunday I went on “Rob’s Ride,” which is every Sunday morning. For anyone who lives anywhere near the Bay Area of California, I highly recommend it. Twenty mile loop through beautiful mountains. Great riding with great people! Details of the ride are here: http://www.robsride.com/
Photo of the group and a video made by one of the riders that day. Fun stuff!
