Ride in Bibione (Italy) during my holidays at 31.8 ° C, Italians are very enthusiastic unicycle!

The club has had terrible luck this summer with Wednesdays and weather - seems it rains EVERY Wednesday! Plus, my bowling league starts-up again soon (which is also on Wednesdays), so I may disappear for several months and then return in the spring.

The museum steps are barricaded due to construction, so I wasn’t able to go up there. Not that I would’ve been able to hop all the way up and then ride down, but I wanted to go up there, where there’s a large “platform” area, and have the city below and all around me.

Las Virgenes trail

Nice after-work ride with Tim Lovasen in Calabasas, CA. He’s a great rider, and takes some great photos!

Power of Four Mtn bike race-big climbs big descents big fun coloRADo !

New waterfront bike path section… Way easier to get to work now. THANK YOU, SEATTLE!

sandals huh? You live in Seattle, you should have socks on with those:)

I actually like wearing sox with flip flops, but the last time I tried it, everyone treated me like I’d just kicked some baby bunnies around for laughs. I’m not sure how it happened, but the combination of sox / sandals has come to be seen as a mark of questionable sanity and moral bakruptcy, so I go for the sockless look all the time now.

Went for the maiden ride of my fatty: 2h30 of regular Muni ride. It was fun and it was easier to ride than I expected.

I still have to find the sweet spot for pressure and test it in really difficult situation (for now sand). But the rubber is really sticky (throwing sand all around) and the tread is plenty grippy.

We’re having a drought, if you haven’t heard.

Not much energy today but still managed to get out :sunglasses:

Low energy but still needed a little ride :sunglasses: Crazy wind this morning made it challenging

8k of ascending/descending all between 10k-12k just another day in

                                      coloRADo!

Just did read in a newspaper that socks and sandals are now becoming “hip” (because hipsters here are wearing everything that’s not “mainstream”, everyone wants to be hip and so it’s becoming mainstream)

Greetings

Byc

As usual, hipness approaches me from behind and then passes me by. Soon, I’ll just be passe. But, for brief periods, I’m temporarily hip. I expect to be seeing my beard style everywhere any time now. For about a month. With a resurgence several months later because it takes awhile to grow a beard long enough for it.

Long before it was “being a hipster”, it was “being a weirdo”. I’m old school.

Not that I ride with inadequate foot protection. I like having grip, a solid fit, and abrasion/impact/crank-strike/rock protection.

I’m hip in the same sort of way a stopped clock is right twice a day. Fashion does its rounds and occasionally passes through something which I wear/do, so I am automatically ‘hip’ until said fashion dies out

Mike, you deliver up the best collection of uni landscape photos around. Hey, naturally the riding looks like fun but the views in your shots are a geography lesson all on their own. Gorgeous slices of the world up there in Colorado.

Ha!

First 36er Muni ride

I did it! My first attempt at 36er Muni lots of UPD’s but lots of fun and fast!!

Told you so…

This was outside the 8th Ave. reservoir in Nashville. I couldn’t get a wider shot because I would have had to stand in the road to do so. The plastic bag and bubble wrap are what I was carrying my phone in (inside the backpack) to protect it from the rain.
