Pictures of your latest ride

Well, at least it’s a name I won’t be able to outgrow…unlike “Boy” George, or “Kid” Rock! :stuck_out_tongue: I picked the name originally as kind of a tongue-in-cheek thing, based on younger riders jokingly referring to me as a “geezer” because of our age difference. It just seemed to be a catchy, unique name, so it looks like I’m stuck with it haha. But I’m happy with it, even though I don’t really consider myself a “geezer”, not by a long shot…yet!

Unicycling on Mt Taranaki

On Saturday I climbed Mt Taranaki and brought a unicycle with me. It was fun and Bevan took some photos…

That’s a tiny unicycle you got there. Maybe a 24" would have been more fun.

Well when you next climb a mountain why don’t you bring your 24"? My 24" got stolen in 2004 and now my 24" has a crap hub. I thought it was fun and it was more about being a Mountain Uni poser than riding for me. The cut-down 12" fitted inside my backpack!

That is way too Awesome for this page! I get it…that is a big pack your carrying, very cool!

Yesterday Lara (chicagoo) and I went to two cities to ride street and flat  we found cool locations  here are a few of our photos.

Nice pics, and nice unis. Slap a white tire on there and it’ll look like mine:p

From my latest blog post: 大成联合科技(深圳)有限公司

those pics with the 12" on the top of the mountain are great!!!

today i did a 3h ride: 1000vertical meters up and also down…

One page with a ton of great pics! Great!

That’s the same size uni I had on the summit of Kilimanjaro, except my pics didn’t come out.
And i didn’t have to carry it myself.

These are from a few rides I did recently, training for the big one!
There’s a small writeup on my blog if you’re curious!

check out chicagoos edited first pic in the german equivalent thread called “Letzter Uniausflug”, I think something really cool evolved from it.

Yesterday I took some pictures at my university. The first result is finished. I hope you like it.

From my lunchtime ride on my local trails, the easy bit of the rocky downhill. I like living & working near proper trails.

Joe

is that a 26"?

@lutz liked the 3rd picture most.

here is one photo of me riding at the universitiy in augsburg.

Nice! Water hazard.

Yep.

It was originally a pashley, but it has had a new frame, bearings, spokes, rim, cranks, seatpost, pedals, tyre, tube and seat, the only original part is the suzue hub.

Joe

Doesn’t that mean you have to change your profile now? The ‘Nottingham’ location is soooo last week!
