Pictures of your latest ride continued

My favourite Hatchet build is the 27.5” KH freerider rim, which can take either the 3.8” Narwal tire (Autumn/Winter) or the 3.25 Duro Crux tire (Spring/Summer) both are excellent. No camber steer and significantly lighter and easier to get on with than the 26 x 4.8” and they dont catch on my legs, which the 4.8” does, usuall when I have just ridden through dog poo accidentally.

How?!?!?!?

Clearly it’s a seasonal migrating unicycle perching on a tree to rest a bit… Quite a rare species to spot :face_with_monocle:

That was some wild UPD you must have had there!

Did you find out what causes it?

Did you find out what causes the feeling of it being cambered?

It’s actually cambered. But, I think it is “gradually cambered” so that you still think it’s flat, but it has slowly become cambered. If you rotate the photo to make every unicyclist straight up and down, you will realize how cambered the path is. However, when you are riding that section, your brain says the concrete is flat. It’s really weird.

There’s a tourist attraction near us that has annoying bumper sticker ads and billboard ads enticing the unaware to come and see the “mysterious gravity anomaly” at their place. The buildings are built in an optical illusion fashion to make it look like there is weird gravity …

Your park could advertize your cambered section of road in a similar way and probably drive up the number of visitors to the park.

The nice clouds can’t fully make up for the lack of unicycles in those pictures

You didn’t look hard enough - although I’m not sure if the unicycle belongs to @Canapin or @SirCranky

Damn it, your right! How could I not see it? And what’s worst: It’s neither Canapin’s nor SirCranky’s, it’s mine!!! At least now I know why my tyre wears so fast!

How much PSI or bar, you choose, do you have on your 24" muni tire. Yesterday I went riding with my sun in the forest and I took my Nimbus 24" muni. I ride all my uni’s with 32 PSI (2.2 bar), but the muni was quite twitchy and I’ve UPD’d quite a lot. Any turn becomes a very sharp turn. Nothing like the 26 or 29" uni’s . But at least it is very easy to mount it again and the tire eats all the bumps and pits. It’s a “Duro tire - Wildlife leopard”, which came standard from municycle.com.

Holly Molly 32 PSI on a 24 Muni, I did that when I first started riding Muni but found out right quick it was WAY TOO MUCH. I keep mine right around 15 PSI on trails with a lot of roots or very rough terrain and about 18 PSI on smoother trails
