Don’t forget to order a custom flasenberrium frame, only the best for this miniature touring uni!
Yes, please! But it should be a P-frame for uni-packing.
Ok, but now we have to order a custom 16" tire from retyre to handle the extra weight.
Well if somebody is going to get a custom tire, might as well pair that 16"er with a carbon fiber rim too!
Do 16“ TPU tubes exist? Or is it better to go tubeless?
You guys are on the wrong track. You have to compensate for how easily this thing stops on curbs and stones by ADDING weight and momentum to the wheel: Adding weight to a wheel
Turning it into a little Bulldozer, in fact.
Ok, then how about making it a fatty for a start? I propose this 16“ steel rim - it‘s even made for a uni! https://www.vlechtservice.nl/en/p/velg-bromfiets-16/. Not 100% sure if 44.5mm is wide enough, though.
Edit: maybe this should be moved to the Micro Machines: Tiny crank and tiny wheel Megathread …
@UnicycleGirl What unicycle is that?
I believe Extremes are made by Sun Unicycles.
Yes, it’s a 24’ Sun Extreme.
Cool. It looks good.
I’ve been riding for a couple years now, and today I had what is easy one of my most favorite rides
We recently got a fair amount of snow, so for the past couple days I’ve been taking advantage of that. Today though was my first time properly riding on a frozen lake! It felt pretty surreal and very relaxing after a while. There was enough snow cover to offer some reliable traction, and there were relatively few snow drifts. Just nice, flat snow mostly.
i ran into someone in my area (new england), with a similar muni, and he said he rides on the lakes … sadly, it has not. been cold enough to free the water, and only today is like our irregular snow events - might end up with 1-2 inches this time.
Christmas Eve so I donned the antlers for a twilight ride in the national park. But that was reduced to a few laps around home in the dark after having to work late.
Do you ride with the Ursli-Bar?
Yes, that’s the long version. Still tweaking the setup, brake is not quite right yet but length and angle work well for me.
