Yep for sure! Also, I find that 50/50 cotton & poly are by far the best vs that heavy “beefy” all cotton T’s.
So the blood doesn’t stain it. 
along with the sweat, dirt, food, etc. mainly the blood though
pff, I like my blood stains to show.

Another question…if we’re not racing on Friday morning, but want to ride the muni Friday afternoon, do we need to show up to register in the morning, or can we just do that at the start of the muni ride? Thanks!

There aren’t a whole lot of options at DeLaveaga, but there are enough trails to allow doodlers to have some fun while others are racing. Some sections of the park have only one trail while others have multiple options, so there may be some overlap… but it shouldn’t be much of a problem.
Just show up a little early for the afternoon ride and give us your forms (remember to sign the waiver!), and that should be fine.
Remember, if you haven’t sent in your forms, make sure to email Corbin and let him know you’re attending! We need an accurate head count ASAP so we can prepare Saturday’s BBQ.
(Side note: I’m the one who “designed” the t-shirt.)
I decided a dark color is better than a light color (as light colors get stained easily). I picked black because I haven’t seen a muni/uni t-shirt in black in a long time, and some of my favorite t’s are black shirts.
Regarding the design; t-shirt designs are very subjective things. It is hard to please everyone. Some people will like it, and some people will hate it.

Just to re-iterate what Jason said; if you are planning on coming for Friday afternoon, and you haven’t sent in your registration, please do give me an email and let me know your plans. That way we can get an accurate head count for things. We are ordering pizza on Friday (on the day of), and are getting food for a BBQ on Saturday night (we are purchasing the food for that on Thursday!).

Hey just wanted to let you guys know about Thursday. Instead of having a “Pre Ride”, we are having a Disc Golf Tournament. It’s at De Laveaga Disc Golf course in Santa Cruz, an absolute world-class location. Cost is free. I will have discs to loan if you need. It will be a random-draw best-shot doubles tournament.
Time: 2:00pm (tee off 2:30pm)

Sorry you can’t make it, Terry. But what’s all this about your neck of the woods? I was thinking the same thing. It’s that time of year again, time to figure out where the next CA MUni Weekend will be. This will be our third time in Santa Cruz, we’ve done Santa Barbara once, but all the other weekends have been in the foothills/Tahoe area (except 2001 in Idaho). I’m very interested in new areas, if there are people who want to take on the organizing. I can help, but you need to know where to do the rides and other events, etc.
Rather than tell me where you’d like to have it, I’d rather hear from people who can actually have something to do with one. San Diego or LA are prime candidates if there are people interested in doing one. Or Santa Barbara again, of course. Those were awesome rides, and you guys did an amazing job in 2005!
