Wheel build problem: Nipples not angled with spokes??

no kidding
weren’t your sidehops close to 6.5 or 7feet ??

How come you used a Primo Balance? Why not a Fly Bikes Ruben rim, much nicer looking.

I’m guessing you’re going to stick to freestyle riding on the unicycle right?

weight.

Ah, 3 oz… I’d rather have the wicked cool cross lacing of the Fly Bikes rim still.

But it’s not my unicycle, so it’s not my problem.

I wanted to pick light parts. Plus, the fly rim is heavier and way more money. I plan on doing big street with this uni.

so why not onza tensiles rather than koxx isis lights?

More expensive, have to get them out of country and I have heard of several pairs breaking on bikes.

Mmmm…

starting to look like moments.

thats cool…makes me wana shine up my cranks now…

Just let Evan borrow them, when you get them back they might look like that…

(those are my cranks)

oooohh…
reminds me of pedals that have been grinded on alot…but without all the major dents in them…
are they gonna get painted and smoothed down or just left like that…

He speaks the truth.

i bet he does…
u seem to do all kinds of projects all the time…
thats cool though…
have u ever did a fancy spoke pattern for a track bike or maybe a coker…
i know its weaker but it still looks cool…

if you are going to do big street then why not choose a trials rim/tyre?

How? Why?

What failure does crossing the spokes mitigate (even if you could do
it without bending the spoke ends)?

u need bigger, nipples thats the problem

The more the spoke is angled laterally, the stronger the wheel is laterally…

It’s similar to the rise and run of a wedge shaped object to space something out. The steeper the rise is, the harder it is to move.

Hmm, I see.
Though of course, it’s correspondingly weaker and less stiff radially.
