Is that Felt tyre lighter than a Duro? Rubber Queens are way lighter than a Duro, so I would have expected a 26 with Rubber Queen to be lighter than a 24 with (Duro) 3" tyre. Perhaps I was talking poo…

The Felt was 340g lighter than the Duro. The Trail King/Rubber Queen was another 300g lighter than the Felt. The larger rim and frame add some weight compared to the 24" and the Moments on the 26" are about 300g heavier than the Ventures on the 24". So you’re not wrong; with the same cranks on both, the 26" would have been the lighter unicycle. Put a Duro on the 24" and the difference would be larger still.

For mixed use, I liked it better than the Duro. It doesn’t give up all that much grip on the trail, it rolls faster, and it’s easier to turn on hard surfaces.
