What is the Best Municycle Tyre going???

I’d agree that the differences are relatively small.

The Felt was 340g lighter than the Duro. The Trail King/Rubber Queen was another 300g lighter than the Felt. The larger rim and frame add some weight compared to the 24" and the Moments on the 26" are about 300g heavier than the Ventures on the 24". So you’re not wrong; with the same cranks on both, the 26" would have been the lighter unicycle. Put a Duro on the 24" and the difference would be larger still.

You can read more about it here: 24x3 Felt Berm Master Tire

For mixed use, I liked it better than the Duro. It doesn’t give up all that much grip on the trail, it rolls faster, and it’s easier to turn on hard surfaces.

Ok thanks…

I also ride a Felt Berm Master on my Nimbus 24" muni.

So far, I have been able to ride anything that my friend with the same unicycle can ride on his Duro.

solid tires?

Didn’t want to start a new thread. This may be covered but can’t find.
Anybody ever try the solid tires? The add says different compounds to simulate different tire pressures. Weight isn’t as high as I figured. Maybe for the road only? [URL="http://www.airfreetires.com/shopping/p-74-26-x-19-yukon-agressive-hp-559.aspx

Hmmmm, obviously I don’t know how to put in a link either

Probably best to start another thread, but there is a reason we risk punctures by using tyres with air in - solid tyres are bad on a bicycle, on a muni where you’re relying so much more on the tyre to absorb the bumps I should think they would be horrible.
