I’m going to see David Byrne on February 28. I loved the movie Stop Making Sense, and have been a fan since the 1970s when Talking Heads started.

I’ll let you know how I liked it after.

I’m too poor to go to concerts but I’m playing a bunch of shows with a poet…

If you consider live shows concerts then I am going to The Deep Dark Woods concert and CFCR fundraiser at Amigo’s Cantina on the 21st. And I will probably show up at a couple random shows at Lydia’s pub. Not that much is happening this month.

I am really looking forward to going to Joey’s Birthday Get-down on March 6th at Lydias. Heartstrings opening for Old Joe!

I’m going to a concert featuring “The Fold” and “The Wedding” and two other decent bands. Should be fun, and its only 5 dollars!

If your free check out the comedy act at Vangelis Tavern all four Wednesday nights in February. The band my son plays in (ArmsUp) is playing between acts.

Cool, I went to a concert this Monday. I had a bunch of fun there, all good bands.

I was going to see Anti-Nowhere League tonight, until I checked the website again and found it was last night. :frowning: That’s twice I’ve missed them locally.

March 3rd is finally almost here! And Tuesday night I get to see Modest Mouse again!

David Byrne was great in concert! Really fun dancers. The whole place was on their feet and brought him back for 3 encores! He looked cute in his white lacy tutu!

Then the NY Times reviewer said the show and the dancing sucked.

I can’t believe how he could say that!
