What concerts are you going to this month?

I’m going to monsuire camembert

Bo Burnham, April 4th!!

Camembert is a soft, creamy French cheese. It was first made in the late 18th century in Normandy in northwestern France.

I’m going to see Joshua Radin in Glasgow on the 20th of March! W00t!

It’s in King Tut’s so should be pretty intimate.

How was Modest Mouse?

Tomorrow I get to see Old Joe and the Heartstrings, Sunday I am seeing Alissa Arnison.

You meant “Monsieur Camembert”?, little typo here, i guess;).
Monsieur Camembert is a cool name though, I could definately imagine some french group calling themselves “Monsieur Camembert”… It would be an independant pop rock band with controversive songs, for sure.
Very cool name, though you may find it a bit weird for an english speaking band.

Camembert is a must-eat cheese, not the tastiest but the most popular, for sure.

Cool!
Joshua and Meiko stopped by our studio last week on their way to Colo Spgs. They played some music for us and signed our wall. Very nice folks, Meiko is HOT HOT HOT and played a great, slower version of “boyfriends with Girlfriends”.

It’s amazing how their careers took off on mySpace.
Enjoy the show!

They were great! This was my second time seeing them, and this was a lot better. It was a smaller venue, which made it really cool/intimate place to see them, not to mention that i was on the second row of people the whole time. The crowd was really energetic and they fed off it all night…played for about 2 hours. I really enjoyed myself.

I just went to a free show featuring RUBY JEAN & THE THOUGHTFUL BEES + VENUS FLYTRAP (Netherlands) + THE SOUND TECHNICIANS + GENTLEMEN HUSBANDS.

Ruby Jean and Venus Flytrap were definitely the best bands there and Ruby Jean put on a great show. The problem with monday night shows is that they tend to start earlier, people aren’t as pumped as they are on Saturdays so people don’t tend to start dancing until the last band and even then thats only if the bands really push people to get out there.

I learned a lesson about dancing infront of speakers for long periods of time. Wear earplugs or stay away. I’ve had ringing in my ears all day, and loud noises sound fuzzy. I’m hoping I didn’t do anything permanent to them.

I usually like loud music at clubs, but it seemed like they were louder than usual last night.

Going to see The Beast on Saturday as well. http://www.myspace.com/beastsound

On the 24th I’m going to see NOAH (with Syncope and guests) http://www.myspace.com/noahxmusic at another free show.

NINJASONIK+The Death Set

This Friday at The Ottobar in Baltimore.
