do you always mount with both hands in the air or just on this log? I always hold the seat when mounting. I will give it a try next time. what about on bigger wheels?
I only mount the Unicycle on this log with both Hands in the Air. Otherwise, I always keep one Hand on the Saddle, even by larger Unicycles.
A few of us from our local Muni group went to Winterfold in the Surrey Hills on Saturday. We found a bunch of ‘Northshore’ wooden stuff that was just the right balance of scary and fun!
I just love 1:05 - I used to believe that only unicycles grew on trees. I‘ve happily been corrected
.
Nice vid, nice trail, nice riding! ![]()
Yer i did think the wheelchair and the crutches nailed to the trees was a nice touch. Glad we didn’t end up requiring either… ![]()
This video should be in “Videos that inspire you”. Great skill!
This evening it was 19 degrees Celsius. Great for a ride. It was a bit windy but dry.
Nearly 12 kms in 1h 20 but I stopped to take some photos and videos as well as riding the wrong way a few times and figuring out on the map how to continue.
Also learned that after an hour I get saddle pains.
Now i know who to bother at Unicon (if you’re going). If i’m feeling nice, i could even bring a medal!
Yeah, saddle pain… ![]()
I sure hope someone brings a medal
so nice you will be thinking of me when you bring me the medal.
I don’t plan on going to Unicon. I already bought tickets to Thailand for more than 5000 euros.
You’ve got nice unis - particularly the one on your T-shirt
. Nice to see my graphics in actual use. I’ve still not managed to have myself made one of these.
I have 4 of them now. Originally I wanted 2 in size XL, but they made a mistake and sent them in L and then I got the XL for free. People may think I’m a unicycle addict…
From Todays Muni ride:
I hit the pump tracks at a local skatepark! This is the smaller one. It’s a workout!
The bigger one is more fun but harder to film
That’s looks very nice. Next Time or Next Challenge: You can jump into it for the Start.
Any tips would be appreciated!
a couple clips from my adventure yesterday:
Ah, the view of trees of heaven growing around graffiti pier. Haven’t been there in a dog’s age (and never with a uni). Glad to see more Philly on here!
Oh man, tree of heaven is a plague here!
