Hi everyone, just a reminder to register for Unithai if you are interested in coming. It helps us plan for support crew and accommodation. You should start looking at flights now.
Keep in mind it is priced in Australian dollars, which is at multi-year lows to the USD and Euro. Currently AU$4100= US$2550 and €2480
Hope to see a few familiar and some faces on tour!
Would love to go to one of these someday, but this year won’t be a fit. I’ve never been to Thailand, but my unicycle has. The same unicycle that’s been to every Unicon (featured at the Unicon 21 Museum). It was supposed to go to Hong Kong, with me, but ended up there. It caught up to me about 24 hours later; this was in 1998.
We’d love to have you on tour John! Make the most of now…it’s getting harder to organise tours around our young family so they won’t be happening as often.
The sad news- We do not have the numbers to run the Thailand Unicycle tour, so we are cancelling this tour.
We are going to do something extra special in its place though…we are heading to Bhutan in 2026! This tour is guaranteed to depart, but will not be a unicyclist only tour. However, we already have enough interest that I think we’ll make up the majority of the tour group.
Sounds amazing! I was interested in the Thailand tour but it just isn’t the year for me. But at US$4800, the Bhutan tour is even more cost prohibitive. Hope those who get to join have a great time!
A big part of the cost is the tourist fee that Bhutan charges, US$100/day, which is included. I’ll check if if it’s cheaper if you’re bringing your own unicycle rather than the bike hire
