Gk, when Leo, Joe and I went to Chicksands last year it was hammering down and the northshore didn’t seem very slippy. In fact I was really surprised at how grippy it was when soaked, because like you I thought it would be unridable.

No, the whole point of going to a MTB park instead of on a long ride is that you can just stand around and pose.

Was a great day, met loads of cool new people. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come along, especially Sean who came all the way from Wales! Was good to see some old friends, like Neil, AJ and Gk as well as some fairly new friends, Rich and Lou.

Well, not really clearing it because he fell off two seconds after I took the picture, but nobody else is going to know that right?
And it looks as if he’s going to make make it.
And he did clear it a few go’s later.
So we’ll just pretend that he did on this try, yeah?
If we don’t talk about it, no one will ever know.

Well, thanks guys for an excellent day. I know I certainly had a great time, even if the train journey home did take over 3 hours !

Thanks Sean - I had a great time - I was like a big playgound and I couldn’t get enough of it.
Really great to be around with so many unicyclists feeding my addiction.
