Yes latex tubes are notorious for losing up to 10 lb of PSI per night requiring constant reinflating and yes they are also more than twice the weight of the TPU tubes. I have my 36-in unicycle inflated to 55 lb and the TPU has not lost any pressure that I can detect in the last 4 days.
