I also love my triton crown. I think it is one of the most comfy crowns my feet have touched. It also gives me plenty of room between the top of the crown and the tire, so my feet don’t rub.
I wouldn’t even put grip tape up there, I find it plenty grippy as it is, and I used to use lots of grip tape on my old flat frame.
