I thought when a movie is remade, they try to improve it or at least make it a little different or add something new. Not so with the new Omen movie starring Julia Stiles! I mean, it’s a carbon copy of the 1976 original! I felt kinda ripped-off. If you’ve seen the original film there’s no need to see the new one.

They did have a unicyclist though! He was idling and juggling clubs at Damien’s party, you know the one where the nanny hangs herself?

i saw it yesterday on 666 and it still was terable i would not recamend it

Hey, the world didn’t end (again). Just like it didn’t end on June 6, 1966 either, a date with more sixes in it! I guess that means the movie wasn’t as good as possible…

I was considering not commenting on the fact that your typing looks like your BAC was about .2, but I changed my mind.

I have never seen a remake that was even as good, not to mention better, as the first one

I thought the third version of The Wizard of Oz was definitely the best. That’s 1939, not 192X or 1909. But most of the time, remakes seem like cheap attempts to cash in. I haven’t seen it, but the new Poseidon Adventure seems to be getting decent reviews. But then again maybe the original did too…

thanks for the heads up. i was thinking of seeing it, but maybe i will just wait till its out and go rent it instead of spending 8 dollars to see a bad movie.

shame, i love horror movies. and there really arent many that have come out recently.

Well, it’s not a bad movie, it’s just no different than the original. I was expecting to see CGI demons, and hell, and all that. There’s no special effects at all in this movie!

Someone should do a big budget movie about the war in Heaven, the fall of Lucifer, etc…
