OMG, this looks like the scariest yet of the series!
That was very insightful. I wonder if you hold the forum record for the creator of the most threads? Something like this would probably work better in a “YouTube clips of movies that haven’t come out yet” thread, or something similar.
Your response will be along the lines of “Hey, I thought this was interesting and what’s wrong with posting a YouTube clip? This is JC afterall, and isn’t this what it’s for? And why’s everybody always picking on me?”
Maybe we’re both right. I just think there are way too many new threads being created when using existing threads would work better.
Cool an old person fight.
I’m going to have to take sides with Terry, I mean this websites just for fun. So what if people clutter with random things, its something to talk about.
Lol, no, I’m quite sure I don’t have that distinction of holding the “record for the most threads.” I do, however, think I have a pretty good ratio of substantive threads/posts, including one record I’m pretty sure I do hold, if not close: Unicycling videos!
So, I think my ratio of “good” to “not-the greatest” posts is pretty strong. But I will heed your implied request to not post so many threads. Not a bad idea actually! ADHD workin’ overtime!:o PS: John, hurry, somebody JUST posted ANOTHER GOD THREAD!!! GO GET 'EM!!!
(Not a bad change of pace though John, from the usual Religious and Political stuff! Just fun to have a laugh now & then )
Haha, yeah! Let me take my afternoon nap first, and my mallox!
Yeah, great. We’re just a couple of old people. What a novelty! Yes, I can name plenty of forum users who post tons of junk threads compared to you. As an example however, consider my own record. I hardly ever start threads and yet I’m constantly running my mouth/keyboard in here. I think the last thread I created was the “Quote of the Day” one, which turned out to be amazingly popular!
Listen, kid (had to throw that in :)). This is indeed a time-wasting forum, as I just wasted some time saying the same thing in a different thread. But if you stack the random things five stories high, it’s hard to sort through them. That’s why threads can be as long as necessary.
BTW, sorry to take this thread instantly off topic. I’d say “Nice trailer” but I didn’t actually watch it…
Hey, hey, haha!! “Kids” are our future! :):p:D:o
You go Joe! (Littleman)
I always though the ‘littleman’ name meant he was a midget.
Yeah, people have been trying to get that to work for years. “Ye must moderate yourself for thou forum to moderated.”
Im sick of Saw. Ive been sick of them since the 2nd one, then the 3rd came out. I had no clue a 4th one came out, then I see number 5. now there is a competition to find the leading actress for Saw 6. I swear there are going to be 10 of these suckers.
Jerrick, you hit the nail on the head! Part of the reason I posted that was to show how ludicrous another sequel of this series is! But as long as it’s making a profit, they’re gonna keep makin’ 'em…unfortunately!
Hey John F., now there’s a crusade you can head up! Time to move into the big time of TV FILM CRITIC and get your own show:"The Fabulous Foss Film Flame Hall of Fame! :)
Its just like those dating shows!
Lets see if I get this right.
Flavor of love came out. Followed by a flavor of love 2 and 3. Because of that, Shot of Love (Tila Tequila) came out, followed by a 2, then a Rock of Love (Bret Michael’s) which also had a 2nd season.
Spawning from Flavor of love, came I love New York, which had two seasons, which spawned a show with her trying to become an actress, with a possibility for a 3rd season of dating, and two guys from the I love NewYork show now have their own show called Real Chance of Love. Spawning from Rock of love, one of the girls is now getting herself a dating show.
Also spawned from those have been seasons of Charm School, and once called I love money.
Its never going to end!!!
Wow, I must really be out of the loop; I’ve nver heard of/seen ANY of those shows…and that’s probably a good thing, lol! Were they on cable?
Its a very good thing. Its on basic cable, I think Vh1 or Mtv.
it’s also ocassionally for finding out useful information or seeking advice, and tons of threads sometimes makes that difficult
Well, going to the foundation of the forums. Really, all of the info and stuff about unicycling should only be in RSU, Product Reviews, and the Article section. Leavng JC to be filled with the random babble of whatever subject.
Its quite obvious the forums arent anything like that. And it wasnt the younger members who caused it to be like that.
Besides, the search feature still works. With all the crankflip threads that used to be made, I can still search and find the exact one I want.
Yes, Gilby is all about self-regulation. It continues to work to a degree, but probably will tend to get worse as the readership grows here.
Granted. The younger members are the ones breaking the vast majority of the self-regulating guidelines.
On your post about the succession of skanky people getting their own reality shows, I read about halfway through and then, based on what little bits I’d seen of those shows, my brain fell out and died. With shows like that being popular, and even spawing new shows, we can’t be that far from the world in the movie Idiocracy.
Im just saying, newer members go by how the forums are when they joined. If their were actualy moderators to help do simple things, like move a thread here and there, maybe combine threads to help clutter, it would then solve many of the points that are brought up pretty much everyday. What confuses me, is such a simple thing, that wouldnt restrict how we act on here hits such a sore spot for a lot of members here.
“Too many threads… we needd blah blah…”
“Why dont we have a mod… simple small actions… blah blah.”
“Never!!!”
Yep, the shows suck. Some of the drama catches my attention. Stupidity still causes me to laugh, and there are a lot of stupid things going on in those shows. Im usually gaming, headphones on some of the times, and just leave the tv on, and out of the corner of my eye ill catch the shows.
I dont know anyone who actually wants to watch those shows.
Anyways. Saw 5. Ill probably watch it. Terry says it looks like the scariest one yet, so if it can make me jump a few times, then it wont be bad. Ill bring a friend who jumps easily, so it will be fun watching his reactions.
I thought we passed that with Police Academy 6?
I might go see it tonight. I’ve always found the Saw movies entertaining.
Sorry, Dude, but since I’ve learned this about you… I don’t think we can see each other anymore. We’re just… too different.
I’ll always love you…
Haha. They’re by no means my favorite, nor are they terribly in-depth. They’re fun movies though.
