riding 2 wheeler videos?

any videos out there of someone mounting my next christmas present, or even just riding them?

Thanks

Any of the ‘main’ people here even own 2 wheelers? There isn’t much talk of them.

Thanks

I have one, however havent ridden it in a year or so. it’s a chain driven system using 16" wheels. but im sure I still could when I can ride again.

I’ve ridden them but never owned one. Imagine someone on a giraffe, pedaling backwards. Or someone on a three-wheeler, pedaling backwards. Aside from that mind-bending aspect, the rest of the ride is about the same…

dustin kelm(not sure if that was his name) has many vids of him on his site there is a pic on my damage caused on unicycles thread i think it has a link to his site?

I think Gilby has (or had?) one.

I’ve mentioned a few times on here that I’ll soon(ish) be building a 12" 2 wheeler. Either that or one with a 12" on the top and a 26" on the bottom…but probably the 12" on both because it’d be lower then. I’m really looking forward to it…I just need the cash.

just trying to mount a kangaroo the other day was hard enough.i could’nt fathom riding a 2 wheeler.

You ALREADY know what you’re getting for Christmas?! Did you peek?

I have possession of a double wheel uni that I ride in most of my shows. This double is on permanent loan from Jay Gilligan.

There’s a video of me riding at Passageway.org

Learning the double took me about as much time as it took to learn riding 1ne whl.

Couldn’t you mounta kangaroo like you are mounting into a one foot idle? I’ve never tried it, but that’s what I would think.

I have a 16" two wheel unicycle and two 24" wheel unicycles. The 16"
two wheeler is 4.5 feet tall and the 24" two wheelers are 5.5 feet tall.

The 16" two wheeler is very easy to free mount and ride. Also, since
the wheels are smaller, the wheels never lose traction when properly
aligned; all my two wheelers use a 3/8" x 1 1/2" flat steel frame which
flexes more than tubular frames. The 24" two wheelers have to be near
perfectly aligned or they could lose traction during a period of maximum
frame flex. If the 24" wheels are not nearly perfectly true and in the
same plane, they tend to track one on the left edge of the tire and the
other on the right edge and may lose traction completely if the
misalignment is great enough.

The 12" two wheeler sounds great. It would be 4 feet tall and there
would be no problem with wheel to wheel traction on any reasonable frame
design where the wheels are compressed together by at least 1/2" (the
axles of the wheels are wheel diameter - 1/2" apart).

I also built a 20" two wheeler for the RBBB Clown College.

I probably have old VHS video of two wheeler riding. Digital video
would be much better.

Sincerely,

Ken Fuchs <kfuchs@winternet.com>

Thanks a lot Ken, I’ll keep all that in mind when I eventually get someone to build me a frame. Have you ever seen a two wheeler with different size wheels?
