Pray here to anyone, or even noone whatsoever.

Hi all.

Everyone is allowed to pray here to anybody they wish. You don’t have to be Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, or even Other. Everyone is welcome to pray here, whether the prayer is directed to a deity, or whether it is only a wish directed at nobody, and you just hope that it will come true.

Everybody is welcome here, this is a segregation free prayer thread. Now, many of the Christians on here have recently expressed that they wish to have a Christian-only prayer thread, because they are the only ones with valid prayers. I encourage them all to “Do to no one what you yourself dislike.”(Tobit 4:15), because I do not believe that they would like to be segregated against. What if I were to start posting all my threads and videos as “For Non-Christian Viewers Only”? I think that many of them would be quite offended. So I politely ask of them to please apply the Ethic of Reciprocity, or the Golden Rule, which is present in not only their religion, but many others. Thank you to those who understand their fault and begin posting their prayers in a non-segregated thread.

Lol, PLUS ONE.

I pray to whoever may be out there, or even if nobody is out there, that the people of this world will eventually begin to realize their prejudices more and more and will do their best to eliminate their prejudices, and to treat new ideas introduced to them with reasonable fairness. Dear whoever may or may not be out there with the ability to fix the problem, I would also appreciate it if more happiness were to be brought to the universe, and that everyone were given strength to deal with their problems without false prejudices.

Would those Christians claim that Jesus the Jew and his cohort of apostles, also mostly Jewish, were all praying to the WRONG GOD?

I don’t get it.

I pray to all gods that have ever spoken of a “second coming” to get down here and “save” their people already. I’d like a little peace and quiet here!

I love this thread so much. Pele is my shining star.

are u praying?

To whom, pray tell, does an athiest pray?

Id like to know that too.

to whoever the hell they want!!

Ah, don’t you just love Jackie’s philosophical replies? :stuck_out_tongue:

I pray that some people stop making it their mission to correct everyone else’s perceived false beliefs.

Well, he’s right in this case. So yes, I do.

It would be much easier to do if they stopped violating the civil rights of nice people, including gay people, women, etc.

An atheist prays to nobody. An atheist’s prayers are expressed as wishes, and an atheist assumes that these wishes will not help the situation, other than perhaps let him express his want’s and needs in words, perhaps making it more realistic and achievable.

to themselves…

I, as a person who sees religion, gods, and faith as a gray area in my life; simply pray for clarity.

Clarity that I am almost certain that man or woman can really give me. Clarity that I will most likely have to find on my own…

But I still pray for it…

Atheist view masturbation as prayer.

Amen.

Michael wins

You got that almost right.
