Just got back from the theatre. A few comments for now:
- Budget 3 hours (Including previews)!
- Great fun, the kids loved it, but clearly a set up for III.
- Don’t leave before the credits are over.
Your still not back to work?! Must be nice.
I’m asuming that you stayed till after the credits, but your kids let you do that?
And, How was it a budget, Its super expensive to go to the movies, what are you comparing it too?

Being a vegetarian, I’m waiting for them to bring out Carrots of the Pirobbean.
budget=allow. You will need to stay in the theatre for three hours. So you will need to allow/budget three hours of your time. Budget can apply to time as well as money.
One of my teachers from last year, Geo Wassung, was supposed to be in the second Pirates of The Caribbean movie. The school board wouldn’t allow him to take the week off and fly down to wherever it was in the Caribbean, because ‘nobody else could fill his position in his absence’. He was very disappointed to have lost that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play as an actual pirate.
FYI, he’s about 50 years old, wears a ponytail, and always carries his passport ‘in case he needs to leave the country’ :p. He was/is a hippy.
Also, one of his sons does some special effects work with George Lucas. Geo himself teaches web design, programming, and some other multimedia classes.
It was a great movie and they did a great job of making me look forward to the third one. Oops, I guess I missed something by leaving as soon as the movie was over, that kind of sucks.

i saw it last night. i found that some parts were funny but it reminded me more of a sci fi film. 6/10

They completely set it up for a sequel.
The best movies are always nice and long.
i just went and saw the movie. i thought it was good but not as good as the 1st one. definately a set up for a 3rd movie.
