Post a picture of your unicycle(s)

I found a video on youtube, where they would slide a pipe over the Allen key, to make the handle longer basically. As I had also bought handle bars. That pipe fit nicely over the key and in no time the bolt loosened. Now one crank has been replaced, in work time. Good Im working from home, so the boss can see what Im doing

Doesn’t a pipe cutter ‘pinch’ the pipe into an oval? For the 29 and 36 inch, I’ve always used an iron saw to saw off a small length and then file it to make it smooth again.

What a mess, what a mess. Now I bent the crank puller. Luckily it is out of the uni

I agree with @Dino, a pipe cutter is the best tool for the job. That’s what I use, too. Pipes stay nice and round. Deburr the edges and you’re good.
But if you only have access to a saw (that’s what I supposed based on your post) that’s fine too. After all the seatpost is (usually) hidden in the frame, so you’re the only one who has to live with a crooked, rough, generally ugly cut. If you chose a saw in the first place, I think you that shouldn’t be an issue. You can pretty the cut up by using a belt sander. Remove the saddle first. Then you can rotate the seatpost on the running belt to get a nice result. It’s even possible to let the moving belt drive the seatpost so it rotates, if you find the correct angle. But that’s probably not advisable because it’s probably dangerous. So it’s best to forget about it and don’t do this at home!

I don’t care about prettying up the pipe. I just file the edges off, so it slides more easily in the frame and it won’t cut my hands. Also if it isn’t 100% 90Âș it is not important. Coz nobody sees it. There are no unicyclists around where I live and everybody else just sees person on half a bike. Even at the bike store right now where I asked them to take off the other cranks, because I bent the crank puller, they asked if I was missing anything. I just ignored them. I was happy they had a new crank puller for me as well.
First I will see how it rides with the 125mm cranks. Maybe I don’t need to saw anything off. We’ll see.

Not if used properly.

You probably have more unicycles than you think you have.

Since I can only dream of wheel walk I’m not gonna rush to take a picture of that unicycle.
Love that pic, it’s just gorgeous! :star_struck:

Im gonna buy a wheelbarrow right away

I mean it makes sense, look carefully for my pointer, showing the additional translations:

Depending on your translation from Japanese
maybe you already have one.

My last 5m wheelwalk was probably on the RTB Winsen 2016. Wheelbarrow walk is even more scary than normal wheel walk is, as once I slipped off the tire crosswise while UPDing backwards.

Yeah, the fear of falling backwards doesn‘t speed the learning process up.
As stated elsewhere, I’m usually not the guy who pushes off the wall when learning something new. If possible, I aim for smooth transitions. In this case: riding along the wall until „something goes wrong“ and I‘m starting to depart. How did you learn WW?

Too long ago for detailles. I think I always started with one foot idle and one foot resting on the frame, like in the gif. I can not imagine to do it any different. I agree, no wall for sure. Nowadays the spiky pedals below don’t make it more confident- at least one point for the wheelbarrow. For you one foot riding to WW could be feasible, but note that WW is always a bit too slowly, what explains my weird movements. In my best times I tried to juggle while WW, but looking at my arm movements, WW and juggling don’t fit together.

Yeah, sometimes muscle memory holds up better than brain memory
Will try to start from one foot idle. That would allow me to practice on the hard court rather than on asphalt; a bit softer in case of a fall

My new Tritao titanium frame for my 27.5 Muni. Really chuffed with this, and I may now have finally run out of things to upgrade. My Muni started as full Mad4One a few years back and piece by piece has been upgraded or replaced until now the only part remaining from that original une is the handle saddle base ; Trigger’s broom springs to mind.

See? Time for an additional uni! I suggest a crappy second hand 20“ - it‘s very different from what you have now and you‘ll have plenty of things to upgrade .
Seriously, that muni looks very sleek. Needs some mud and scratches as not to be taken for a street uni.

Haha. Don’t worry, it won’t look pristine for long, my M41 frame that it replaced is scratched to pieces
