Cool ride. I’m hopping to do some stuff like that once I get my 26".
Cool grinds, espically the last one!
from the century i did on monday:
this was around mile 12, when my friends on bikes caught up to me. we rode together for about half a mile, then i let them drop me when we got to a downhill. Chuck&Crista, on the tandem, come up to about the saddle on my coker (when they’re sitting down).
*the photo actually belongs to my friend Maile (who took it and a few dozen more that day), but i hope she won’t mind me posting it here.
Yay, I finally get to post pics here! I don’t have people take photos of me very often…
I did. I went with the fam on a Appalachian Trail hike and rode about half the time. (And I found out from a sign on the way back that the trail is for “foot traffic only”.:()
Here’s two pics my sister took.
Take Your Baby One Wheeling Wednesday!!
Not the best quality. It was getting dark and I only had a 5 year old to take the pics.
We used to use a back carrier, but she cranes her neck out so she can see (or feel the wind her face and bugs in her tee. . er. . . gums) which makes it all awkward and a bit bouncy. This works better, but her legs are getting long and hit my thighs, so she stands on the handle, which crates its own issues.
We’ll keep working on it.
I don’t want to “rain on your parade”, but that is dangerous as heck for your baby, for obvious reasons!
I would agree that’s (much) safer, except that you probably rode like that along a 18" wide trail on the edge of the mother of all cliffs ![]()
Rob
…psst, don’t tell that my wife ![]()
Chillin’… not Spillin’
Rode about 11 miles today to work on sore knee… gettin’ used to the KH 36’er, handle and all. A whole new ride.
This snowman in North St. Paul always makes me smile and giggle. He is the mascot for the High school… The Frosties! or something like that. Too cool .. downright chilly willy.
Shug of the Smokin’ Taint
Awesome set up Shug! I wanna KH 36er too!!!![]()
Nice … what kind of cranks are those? They look like they have 3 different holes. Sweet!
Shug
Yeah … you need to add one to your Uni-Armada! I am liking it…
Looking forward to some MUni soon though. Need to get rough!!!
I want to say that they are Kooka cranks, but I’ll let the owner reply.
3 holes rock!
Nice pic too. ![]()
Very recently tomblackwood posted a link to a picture of his unicycle which has a set of 4 hole cranks! Here’s the link:
Are those custom?
No pics of the ride in, only of my Muni resting at the crag, and one of Sara for posterity.
Rock on . . .
JL
The last picture looks like Joshua Trees. Are they all from Joshua trees?
Was the unicycle just decorative, or did you ride it up? ![]()
