Pictures of your latest ride

North Topsail Beach, North Carolina

Enjoyed a 3 mile ride along the coast today on my Nimbus 29er with Shadow T-bar. Road goes right along the beach! Intended to do about 7 miles but had a problem with a loose seat post that cut it short at 3 miles. I think the way the Shadow handle attaches lends itself to this problem, but I am working on solving it. Still, worth every mile!

I use one too! I love it! Not a doctor either.

That’s a pretty common problem, mark. You can’t tighten the bolt without removing the saddle. (The new KH saddle fixes this with a hole in the middle of the saddle.) What I did (and others) is put a big load of Loctite on the bolt and tightened it like crazy. Haven’t had a problem with it since.

New to riding 36ers

I bought my 36er last weekend. I’d never ridden one before and by the end of the day I could ride and freemount. Today was my first longish ride, 13km loop to the local zoo, breakfast with the ringtailed lemurs(they are hard to see but they are sitting on the ropes) then home again

Ditto. It’d be awesome if all saddles had an access hole in the top  .

I put loctite on mine, and still got loosening on my first ride. UPDinUtah (on this forum) theorized that the first bit of riding wears off some of the powder coating causing that initial loosening. Makes sense to me.

I just retorqued the bejeezus out of it, and haven’t had an issue since.

That’s the technical term for it.

Buena Vista Ferry, Oregon

The unposted ferry rate for a unicycle is $1.00 (US). The ferry boat captain would not be talked down to .50 for a single axle vehicle.

It certainly beats swimming the Willamette river.

Awesome! I will give that a try. Thanks!

End of my 85km BD ride, heavy rain for hours, & 7 C temperature. Fall colors still vibrant, snow up high. Super stoked to spend the day outside. Peace

UNIfishing.

I was thrown a challenge today..
To haul in a big shark or stingray with me on the unicycle.
Challenge ACCEPTED!!!. :sunglasses:

Rode with Kiefer today, always fun trying to keep up with him

 Whatever.

BTW, when does the show start?

Well I couldn’t see any lemurs so just figured that photo was of your climbing gym. Those trees are not the typical spotted gums down the south coast so I am figuring the location is not Mogo but Dubbo?
Sounds like you’ll have a lot of fun on the 36.

I do see the 2 lemurs right above the person bending over. Great job for your first ride! Cant wait to practice on mine when it comes. At the same time, I have a whole lot of idling and standstill to perfect:p

Great photos everybody as usual. It’s been a while since I’ve posted something so some photos from a short ride yesterday. I found an easy way to make fatty out of regular tyre

I’ve seen a certain lady unicyclist on a giraffe and a red cape who might know

Today I had a go of a penny farthing! I got around the block, then fell off :astonished:
After panicking for a few mins, thinking I might have damaged it, I checked myself…Blood from the knee and elbow, an aching bum and a tender thumb lol

Here’s the pics, including a beautiful sunset

36er MUni at “Dead Cow”, 10/10/14. What an adventure! Video is here.

Oh, that brings back memories from childhood of knee grazes becoming fused with the bed sheets overnight…

Hey, with a load of miles under your belt now, how are you finding the brake system on the Oracle? What are your experiences of its performance?

I want a Penny soooooooo bad
