Pictures of your latest ride

I’ve actually never met anyone else who uses a Livescribe smart pen (that is the paper that you have to use with the pen).

Bri

Very nice Schlumpf 36er!

My dad uses one and he’s not a doctor.

Unicycling to raise funds at .1k race

…It was the first time back on the unicycle after more than a month off with hand injuries (not unicycle related.) Still a pretty rank beginner, but a friend commented I didn’t look like I was continually almost falling like I had been earlier in the year. I think that’s a complement?!

We tripled the size of the ‘runners’ this year who paid to race and raise funds. The run, helps to cover costs for people needing hospice support, but not able to afford it. Bonus was I discovered a man living in my town who had been a part of the Chicago unicycle club and rides when he can. We are looking forward to getting together.

To my uneducated eye, the paper looks like the same paper I’ve seen at every doctor/nurse/dentist/miscellanious medical professional I’ve been to - they usually have it in their printers, and it stacks up sort of perforated at each end, in a zig-zag stack, with those binder-holes down each side. I just assumed it was ‘doctor paper’ because they’re the only people I’ve seen use it. That being said, they all use regular pens, so it’s probably not the same as yours

Even when I was a kid, I went to the doctor with my mum (presumably for her health not mine), and as I was sat waiting, he pulled some of his weird doctor paper out and handed it me to draw on

It’s a conspiracy I tells ya!

Interesting! I’ll look out for this paper. Although, electronic charting is replacing paper charting, so I don’t know the likelihood of finding it.

Post-ride jam on Sunday after some muni in Coaticook, QC… Jakob, Benoit, Antonia, Chris, Mike, Casey (I was filming).

There were some campers nearby who must have wondered WTF was happening, because 7 people on unicycles rode out of the woods, and one pulled out a ukelele and started playing it…

Yes, Chris carried a uke during our muni ride. Again.

Nice pic Evil Nick. I wish I had a ukulele playing, unicycle riding friend…Unfortunately I’m a loan rider :frowning:

Thanks for sharing

Met up with some deer friends at a local park:)

Really, the paved trails are too smooth and flat for my Oregon’s liking. Cant wait for my 36er!

summer in croatia

Explored the Green River Trail south of Seattle yesterday and found this cool bike sculpture, so I busted out the phone and snapped it. I’m sure pigs’ll fly long before we see any uni-themed public art, which is just fine with me. If uni’s became commonplace, we’d get fewer neck-snapping double-takes and “WTF?'s” I’m sure.

then pigs fly: I have spotted at least two such things (one picture might be around somewhere on the forum)

I haven’t been able to get out riding all week, due to the rain and wind.
This is the beautiful side of rain

From a family ride the other day, was hoping to get the whole family but some of the pics didn’t turn out. My wife (the photographer), my oldest daughter, and my 4 year old are still learning but the other 4 of us ride.

Saratoga Mountain Bike Association Trails, NY

Spent my day off this week riding the SMBA trails. Rode 9.5 miles not counting my stops to session several bits. Probably shouldn’t ride these trails without a friend to drag out my corpse, or at least point the EMTs in the right direction…

If you are in NYC this weekend come and check us out at the Columbus Day Parade! The kids have been practicing hard. The link takes you to photos.
