Pictures of your latest ride

Thanks! I am seriously thinking about selling my 24 and 26 and just sticking with 29+ and the 36er :astonished:

Isn’t that just the legendary British stiff upper lip?

Well I beat a couple of women (one who rode up with a kiddy in a seat), and I think I beat this chap on my second run (he was 0.8s quicker than my first - don’t know the time for my second run, but sure it was faster).

TBH it wasn’t ideal for me on a uni against the bikes - a bit short, and the bikes could carry momentum when it ramped up at the end where I couldn’t.

I vaguely know both the other chaps in that photo - have been a member of both clubs, and know most of the people running this event, the guy running the start (in black just next to my left elbow in the second pic) is actually a good friend. I even ended up marshalling the crossing part way up the hill for a while! So they were more than happy to have me - very enthusiastic if anything, I was even allowed a rolling start after having trouble with the push off the cyclists were getting. Got very well cheered on.

I like the guy riding the invisible uni, on the right in the last photo.

Today I learned that my fat tire’s true purpose is to ride around on beach sand. I spy harbor seals!

Came across this on my daily ride…Random

Is it decorating the trash can or is it trash?

I’d presume its been left there as trash. It was gone when I went past again just now

One BIG Happy Family!

Muni in the Alps… Great time!

Hi,
Here are a few pics from last week. Spent a couple of days muniing in the French Alps, loved it!
2 rides:
On day 1, Mont Joly - 27km and more than 1,600m up then down. Walking 90% of the up, riding 90% of the down!
On day 2, Belvedere du Derochoir - 16km and just over 1,000m up and down. Similar walking/riding as on day 1. The downhill was just fantastic. Beautiful and so much fun, all single track.

Given the training I can do around Copenhagen, my legs coped ok!

great photos, fabulous scenery

I’ve been riding for about a year and I recently decided to build my own frame. I used square tubing to give it a unique look. I’ve listed it on ebay to see if there’s any interest in the design.

I’m pretty new to unicycling and mostly try to do freestyle riding. I’d like to know what sort of things people look for in a unicycle and what people think of my design. Keep in mind this is my first attempt. Thanks for any feed back.

More California beach riding. Dropped my tire pressure lower than I’ve ever had it (not sure at what psi though) and this thing just floated over the sand. It was awesome!

Whoa, haircut…

Hey Bri, your ride seems to be a great all around machine that does multi-purpose duty. I’m curious about the wheel size and crank length.

That looks really nice and neat, it is good to see that we have a new bunch of frame builders trying things out again…

Yeah, I kind of like the look of a square frame too, dunno why  Looks sort of, mechanical. It needs to be steampunk-painted!

Yeah! Wooden airbrush on the frame, turning gearwheels all over the uni and plasma flashes spinning around the spokes .. haha

Yeah the ocean spray and humidity definitely make me look like a clown. Not good for my unicycling image.

It’s a 26x4 Origin8 Devist8er fat tire with 150mm kh cranks. I had 130mm with a disc break but I transferred that set-up to my 29x3 Surly Knard. I have a 26x3.5 Captiv8er waiting for me in Oregon (it’s a fat slick tire!) so hopefully I can use this beast for commuting to class. THEN it will be an all-around uni for me.

Mount Wilson Ride Sunday

Took shuttle up the mountain & rode down. Same trail/ride we get to do in California Muni. Check out details at oneloveunicycleclub.com
