Almost half way through a 20 mile ride which is my new ride length
on my new KH29 all over the rolling South Downs just up and downs with virtually no flat!
I don’t see where to subscribe. (It’s prob there, but I don’t read German).
Moco Epic ride last Sunday in Montgomery County, Maryland on my KH 36 guni. The trail conditions and weather were perfect. I had a blast. There were a few road sections between parks so high gear came in handy. I passed mtbers on the trail and road sections. Here are some details.
52 miles
85% singletrack
6 hours 40 minutes rolling time
7.8 mph average speed
23.0 max speed (downhill road section)
After the ride I was interviewed by Dirtrag magazine.
52 miles in under 40 minutes on single track is impressive:)
You are always welcome! Will try post today’s later on ![]()
i like it

Testing “DashWare” trip
This is a picture from a GoPro video taken in my neighbourhood, where I’m testing some DashWare gauges. You can se more of my DashWare videotest here.
Left in the picture you can see the three “Swords in Rock”. This monument commemorates the Battle of Hafrsfjord in 872, after which King Harald Fair Hair united the three districts of Norway into one kingdom.(Link)
About 75 meters ahed of me, to the left, you can allso se a “Bike Counter”. (Mollebukta sykkelteller). They have become common around here this year (but as the name says, they only count 2-wheelers).
Cato
The one proposed by Aracer should make it perfect.
But as far as I remember, the counter in Linköping, Sweden was counting me on my 24" uni.
OUTCH!!! I hope it heals good and fast!
looks like my dream trials place.
Ouch! Good luck with recovery.
Thanks:) I had identical injury 2,5 years ago but on the right leg. After 16 weeks I felt almost OK so I expect the same process this time.
Did a smaller 15 mile ride today, really nailing the climbs on the 29er with short 137mm cranks, she just fly’s over everything and is a joy to stand up and slog up the hills on, I even broke my max speed with a 11.8mph run, I can maintain 8-9 mph now depending on terrain (it is pretty hilly and very muddy at the moment).
It was a cool 10 decrees C with lots of mist trapped in the valleys, perfect riding weather, screw the heat ![]()
Nice Pic Feisty - @ Turtle always awesome
Here is todays ride - Continental Divide Bliss 12,095’ - 3687 meters
Back and Forth so I could summit from both directions
