Out for a little morning MUni.
rode the urban single track along the creek at the end of my street today (and most days). Then a few laps of the local velodrome (not quite fast enough on the 29er to need the high bank).
Its not quite the Rockies or the Alps but it mine.
I went for a nice 20 mile ride with Scott, Dan and Rob today. 2 inches of snow yesterday made for pretty great riding conditions.
Hey, that’s Herstedhøje, I’ve been paragliding there once
Met up with some Danish pilots, one of them tried speaking Swedish to me in the belief it would be easier for me. Trust me, that only makes it worse. Sounds funny though
I trust you are familiar with this essential scholarly tome on the subject of mountaineering in Denmark? Written by a Norwegian, no less - as you see, we travel all the way to Denmark to climb mountains, so they must be good.
Oh and by the way I’ve got the same Muni. The orange colour is great.
Fantastic day in the desert yesterday, Fruita singletrack rules.
The horse kept on mounting Uni upside down and I tried a bit or trail riding, lucky I had my helmet on for low branches on 20k ride.
I really enjoyed these 18 miles of dirt, almost all singltrack. Marys, Steves, Handcuffs, Marys, Wrangler and Rustler. The Kokelpelli is 142 miles long, with all these fantastic loops, out/backs, lollipops, etc off of it. So grateful to ski one day and less than 2 hours away, ride MUni is this amazing place-Colorado:D
Not really a picture of my last ride but I love this picture ^^
a picture of street view!!
Thats AWESOME!!!
nice one!
that is soooo coool!!!1
Cool. I had to navigate there for myself. As long as I did, here’s the link.
So awesome.^^^
The pedal on the green unicycle seems to have been detected as a face and blurred out. Was it a particularly humanoid-looking pedal?
@AspenMike - love the monochrome shot of the canyon (Fruita?). Superb picture.
A little pre-turkey feast ride on Thanksgiving morning. The schlumpf seems to be holding up well on moderate drops. The Ardent 2.4 foldie also is ideal for this setup, and it performs like a heavier beaded tire, but super light!
Pics taken by my 4yo son as we were sessioning some little bits of steep downhill in the local park in the dusk after school (he had a training wheel on his unicycle ). I kept getting told to go back round for one more go when he didn’t get a good photo of me!
Beautiful BLUE morning ride on BLACK Friday, with WHITE Christmas playing in the background!
I took a ride today primarily muni but you have to cross some paved places/walkways along the way. The most unique hiker I ran into is below, we both enjoyed an encounter with some uniqueness. (the bottom picture isn’t from today but I thought I’d throw it in since it’s part of the same trails, just more leaves now. My tripod kept blowing over it was too windy to get any pictures riding
That is one classy looking pink uni!!! I love it!
did it again, a new peak in the morning: 400 vertical meters uphill ride, more then a 1000 vertical meters hiking… afterwards a downhill like hell! never did such a steep section for such a long time! no way for me withaout the disc brake, thanks mountainuni.com!
