Pictures of your latest ride

If he was able to post the photo, then I bet he at least made it to the other side

I don’t think he had multiple cameras, so I guess he did jump multiple times. The fact that he does not wear any protection gear tells me that it was fairly easy for him.

 Very good.

haha yeah I made it
It isn’t a really hard gap, just a bit scary the first time^^
I jumped to that wall and droped off(on the safe side) :stuck_out_tongue:

It not today, but …

This is a little old for ‘your latest ride’. But I think the picture and who it is will make it ok to post here.

JC having fun

We had a blast that day, and you can tell by the look on JC’s face.

Leo and I went to a random sesh around town, I was on my new 24"

Leo, rolling hop to bin…

…to tyregrab off.

Theres a gap outside Argos, which we call The Argos gap. I can do it static on my 19" Trials uni, but I’ve been wanting to send it rolling on a 24" for ages. Since this was the first run with the new 24, I thought I’d give it a go.

First attempt :stuck_out_tongue:

Sent

Made it with ease, I love the speed of that thing!

Rode a brand new trail for the first time today, called “Car Wreck”, and it definitely lives up to its name! This trail is like Rockit times TEN! Pictures cannot do justice to the true steepness! No doubt about it, this trail is the very definition of “intimidating”!

No wonder I didn’t see a single mtb or even hiker on it, yet Aliso was packed with riders everywhere else! For mtb, you really would need body armor and full face helmet to ride car wreck with any speed. Too bad I forgot to charge my camera battery the night before, so I had to settle for a few stills. :o (Last pic was after riding that trail.)

Funny photo! Seeing the second photo there is no doubt about the name of the trail, XD.

Btw, that drop cost me a fractured rib! ouch! :astonished: :frowning:

eek! better than a dislocated shoulder!

I think I just had way to much psi for that drop, and so the impact was pretty hard, transferring a good deal of the shock of it into my chest, although I landed it.

A old riding buddy of mine had a dislocated shoulder about 3 years ago, doing a rather tame drop, but ran out of roll out room, and put his arm out to block himself from hitting a tree! We got him to the ER where they pooped it back in straight away! He is actually a couple years older than me. :o

rode down Burk mountain

Almost rode Car Wreck when I was out that way - will definitely have to try it next time I am in the area. Sorry to hear about the cracked rib - probably going to slow you down learning the new tricks you have in mind. Helps affirm for me why I stay away from really big drops.

Turns out it’s probably not a cracked rib. The pain came and went, so I think it might have just been a minor strain. I’ve been a life-long big milk drinker, so maybe that has helped! :o

And “Car wreck” is an advanced skills level trail of the first magnitude! I would be surprised to see even Kris clean it, but if anyone could, it would be him! I could only manage parts of it without losing control, even with my magura on full! :astonished: I’ve ridden many ultra-technical trails-which I love-but this one stands alone at the top of the heap, and laughs at you in utter defiance saying, “just try me, and I’ll kick your ass!” Fortunately I came out unscathed! Helluva place to hone skills though!

Hey Terry … cool and biting trail!
Glad your rid is just a strain.
I rode a trail by here that kicked my ass … all was well and I hit this section and tried it three times and left bleeding and whupped! It was fun though and I still hold a grudge.
They never look as steep in pix but this one was …with concrete chunks in it. Wicked was it.
I will be back…
Wish the pix were better!!!

Damn! That looked like a bad one, but at the same time it appears that you were able to roll with it very well, and that sure helps minimize injury. Also looks like a very technical section indeed!

Out for a 25 mile beach ride this morning, before more rain hits. The first pic is “for the birds”! :stuck_out_tongue:

Terry, I don’t think that I have seen a picture as overwhelmingly mind-blowing as the last picture in you set of pictures. It was so incredible that I had to use the thesaurus to find some good words to describe it! I’d definitely use that as a wallpaper, haha

Just got my KH36 three weeks ago, and absolutely loving it on the local Sydney trails.
