Pictures of your latest ride

Presumably of the trail, rather than my awesome photography skills

I reckon you’d like that bit actually - there were some sections that I couldn’t ride with my mostly-rolling style but would have been doable by somebody with some trials ability. That bit at the end (last picture I posted) has some quite big natural steps - each one on its own I’d be happy with, but three in a row had me chickening out - again, I reckon you’d be fine with it.

Quite a nice little trail though, and cuts out a load of boring road round the reservoir (on the loop I took you and Joe on).

I was in the paper today:

Found a really awesome skatepark in Long Beach, and it allows bmx/bikes on odd days. It’s open all day everyday, and free. Working on the bowl carving and it is tricky of your not accustomed to it, and the bowls are SLIPPERY as glass! But I’m learning, and it’s really fun!

Here’s info about it: http://www.socalskateparks.com/park/houghton

Wow Terry! Nice looking wall. There’s also another great one in Culver City on Jefferson (against the hill/park) Post this to my Skatepark thread too, could ya?

I had looked into that one, but they don’t open until noon on weekdays, is staffed also, and so they may only allow bikes on certain days, or maybe not at all. Looks really good though.

Edit: Just read the rules and regs on this official website, and bikes or anything other than skateboards are not allowed. :frowning:

I had really searched everywhere for a good and local skatepark that did allow bikes, and the Long Beach park was the only one I found that specified inclusion of bikes on certain days.

From an epic MUni day today! You can see JoElla, on the far right. Her and her boyfriend Ryan were there to help me set up my Uni-Cable-Cam, since this trail has no trees! Video will be up soon in vid forum.

The search for the elusive Jubbaland trails, home of sweet single track… :stuck_out_tongue:

after riding technical muni the whole season, i did today a nice crosscountry trip on the geared 29er:

Nice mountain.

What happened to the V? Have you gone back to normal frames again?

(oh, and there’s a giant hedgehog going into that shed in the background)

Rob

…& nice shorts…I’ve got the yellow ones. German ‘Plantzs…(can’t remember the full name!!)’ make I believe.

sure i’m riding still the v-frame but at the moment 36" only (have only one handlebar setup at the moment)

the shorts are platzangst, they support me… a little bit

Big mountian -steep road

Oof, that looks like a painful slog.

Rather you than me.

It only hurts till the pain goes away

This isn’t strictly my latest ride, but here’s a few of my most recent riding pictures

I went out to meet some cycling friends yesterday and thankfully someone had a camera so here are some photos of me being pretty boring…

Oh well maybe some day I’ll have some interesting pics to show. My black shirt didn’t help matters, made fancy light settings not work too well
