Presumably of the trail, rather than my awesome photography skills
I reckon you’d like that bit actually - there were some sections that I couldn’t ride with my mostly-rolling style but would have been doable by somebody with some trials ability. That bit at the end (last picture I posted) has some quite big natural steps - each one on its own I’d be happy with, but three in a row had me chickening out - again, I reckon you’d be fine with it.
Quite a nice little trail though, and cuts out a load of boring road round the reservoir (on the loop I took you and Joe on).
Found a really awesome skatepark in Long Beach, and it allows bmx/bikes on odd days. It’s open all day everyday, and free. Working on the bowl carving and it is tricky of your not accustomed to it, and the bowls are SLIPPERY as glass! But I’m learning, and it’s really fun!
Wow Terry! Nice looking wall. There’s also another great one in Culver City on Jefferson (against the hill/park) Post this to my Skatepark thread too, could ya?
I had looked into that one, but they don’t open until noon on weekdays, is staffed also, and so they may only allow bikes on certain days, or maybe not at all. Looks really good though.
I had really searched everywhere for a good and local skatepark that did allow bikes, and the Long Beach park was the only one I found that specified inclusion of bikes on certain days.
From an epic MUni day today! You can see JoElla, on the far right. Her and her boyfriend Ryan were there to help me set up my Uni-Cable-Cam, since this trail has no trees! Video will be up soon in vid forum.
