Here’s a picture of me on the ungeared 36er in front of my new home city:
Got any pictures of that? Looks a bit dusty ![]()
National Cycle Route 8
I’m always on NCR8 'cos it’s just around the corner from where I live - lots of opportunity to do different sections of it. Good weather today meant a nice 15 mile section around the coast ![]()
That blue t-shirt sure fits well with the background colors. All your pictures are great Geoff.
Haha - well if we are going to be aesthetic we might as well note that the horizon in that image could do with being horizontal! rather than sloping to one side ;)![]()
No, the photo is right. Just this is a lake well suited for water skiing!

Been hiding in the Rockies, came back for supplies. This is at 3,632 meters, looking at the tallest mountain in Co. Mt. Massive 4,401 meters. Back to the high country. ![]()
My what long cranks you have Grandmother! And what large peaks! ![]()
On the trail of the lonesome unicycle
Haha
Thanks! to celebrate that here is a rare photo of the ‘Lesser-wheeled road-rider’. A solitary one wheeled monster that now and again may be glimpsed ‘socialising’ at pub stops with its dual wheeled cousins
PS: I only drank water, honest

Original name! I’m just going out for a ride over Quite Big Hill ![]()
Superb picture as always - keep them coming for those of us without any Mt Massives.

Yesterday I hopped up all 199 steps in whitby then rode down the very steep slope by the side! Looking on google I think I might be first person to do that.
You know what they say, if it aint on the internet then it didn’t happen
I personally think riding down the slope was much more difficult (but a bit less tiring).
Today rode all the way along the promenade in bridlington today, got an ice cream and then back again.
I also rode all the way along this wall:
There’s a 3m ish drop on the other side in some places but it is about 50cm wide.
No pics of me I’m afraid as I was there alone. There are some pics of me hopping up the 199 steps taken by random people but none of them seem to have made their way onto google yet. I’ll keep looking.
Neither of those pics are mine either…
Mowcius
Well I believe you even if they don’t go on the Web

Nice snaps …..the Bridlington one, was apparently taken on 7th Oct 2004 at 1.05 pm with a Fujifilm FinePix 2800 – curious there are no people around let alone unicyclists

Yesterday I went all the way to Neuf Brisach, France and back home by unicycle.
It was fun but way too hot actually. Anyways, here are the pics:
1 and 2: Breisach, Germany
3 the border to France
4 Neuf Brisach, France
I had a few amazing rides throughout Idaho and Wyoming over the last week.
On top of my grandma’s house:
I was going to visit Craters of the Moon National Monument (John Foss’s Things Not To Do #19), but instead ended up going to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
