Splodge:
Like your pooch Marty…looks like a Border Terrier.
Frost on the ground, wont be long before we’re getting it in the UK.
That’s correct. Eddie is a Border Terrier and loves to come along on whatever adventure I’ll bring.

A great night ride tonight. Don’t let the weather get you down.
That’s a nice little write-up.
Doesn’t it just rock being a grown-up?
This is a picture from the All Souls Procession in Tucson. This is a huge event that celebrates the lives of people who have died. It is a mexican tradition.

Near the top of newly reopened Sullivan Canyon. Still a fun 9 mile rounder with magnificent views, beautiful trees, and 1,200 feet elevation change.
Today I did a very long muni ride on a local mtb trail that I only discovered very recently.
It is 54km long in total and has many quite interesting and rather tricky sections.
Even though there are no real mountains around, they managed to create this long trail that goes zig-zagging up and down the lateral moraine that the glaciers from the last ice ages created there.
In between the steeper bits there are many sections where I can kick in the high gear and go fast. So it’s a very varied ride that doesn’t get boring at all.
I can really recommend this tour for some good and challenging muni in the Netherlands.
Doing the whole length of it was very exausting, though. But fun!
It was particularly challenging because it was very muddy and rooty.
Found myself some excellent mushrooms once again, by the way.
I had some for supper already. Delicious!
A little ride by the river at the local mtb trail.

anton005:
It’s 10pm, I’ve been out in the garage messing around with my wheels trying to scratch an itch I’ve had to do something unicycle related today. It’s been pouring rain for hours and I’m totally bummed out. The thought of heading out for a night ride enters my mind… “If I go now I’m gonna get totally soaked and won’t get to sleep until midnight.”
F*CKIT! Grab my helmet, light, throw on my rain jacket and bust a move. The trail is covered in maple leaves, my headlamp lights em up like a yellow and brown stained glass window. I can’t see the trail at all. Keep riding. I come to the point where I usually turn around and head back home, not tonight. I keep going. Onto the road, up the big hill and onto the next section of trail. Winding down into a forest I’ve never ridden on a unicycle before, much less at night. The ground is a carpet of soaked pine needles, so smooth. It is still pouring rain, but the rain is no longer annoying, it has become refreshing. I keep riding, time to head back. The uphill is just what the doctor ordered tonight, I can finally sweat out the remainder of my cold. The dark leaf covered trail which I could barely find on my way out has become almost light as day, my mind no longer needs light. I find myself riding faster than I have ridden before. My tire rips through the leaves and mud. I’m home.
Well, you get the picture…
A great night ride tonight. Don’t let the weather get you down.
Look where the unicycle landed! I wonder what happened to the unicyclist?
