Was the helmet…
- simply part of the costume?
- added to the costume, just in case you need it?
- much of a nuisance to you as a performer? (e.g. limiting the sight, messing up the balance by adding weight at your top)
The helmet was part of my cosplay of “the rainbow goblins”. I like wearing protections, but in the freestyle world you barely see them, so I thought about integrating the helmet as part of my costume to show people you can use protections and still be cool.
I’m used to wearing a full face helmet so I think my consistency is pretty much the same with or without it. Covering the helmet made it a little bit hotter and eliminated the vision in between the holes of the chin guard. Not ideal for long sessions, but enough for a short performance.

I think that helmet should make for some surprised looks from random people you encounter when doing muni in a forest 
.

Hello,
It looks something like this. He controls the speed by running in front of the Muni and slowing down, whilst he can also steer the Muni along its path to a similar extent. But it’s got better and better over the last few times. Today, the dog is mostly running ahead of the Muni at a safe distance of about 3-4 metres. Most recently, my wife was playing fetch with the dog in a meadow. When I unpacked the Muni and rode it a few metres round the car park, the dog immediately abandoned the ball and my wife and came running alongside the Muni. Apparently he really enjoys it, and the speeds are pretty much ideal for the dog compared to a normal two-wheeler. With my 26” and 27.5” Munis, I can even get the dog to run alongside me for a short while. With the smaller Muni, he just trots along. He seems to really enjoy it, and the speeds are pretty much ideal for the dog compared to a normal two-wheeler.

Hello,
Yes, my wife and I like to exercise together, and when I take the small 20" KH Muni, she can easily jog along with me. In that case, the dog runs ahead of both of us.

Yes, but you need a Challenge in your Unicycle life.
I wouldnt ride such grass planes in NL. They are the perfect spots for dog owners to turn them into dog toilets. I hate dog poo.
