Production Rotor Pics
At long last, Here are some photos of the New Production Disc Rotor/Crank setups. We’re Completing some laser etching for the first batch, and they will be ready for shipping after the Thanksgiving Holiday. The KH ISIS hub is a beautiful mated compliment to the Set-up. Depending on steel or aluminum frame, we have steel mounts that will come with the package. For aluminum frames, we are finishing up work on our Lower Bearing Cap Mounts that will retrofit a disc caliper to all Nimbus and KH frames.
Looking forward to getting these out to the Unicyclist Community soon as possible. Look for some Triton 36 Frames to be the first outfitted by Jogi w/ the Mountainuni Disc Rotors!
I wish I could fit the set-up on my 2 conundrum frames (24" and 26")
As soon as Triton has a Muni frame that can accept my 24" 3.0 set-up and 26" Surly Larry set-up AND be Mountainuni Disc ready… I’ll get one and a set of your brakes.
i’m waiting…
You don’t use spacer between crank and bearing or is it just for the photo ?
Just for the Photo
“No crank stops” are Just for the Photo. So excited about putting one together, and had to take some photos. Traditional KH crank stops would be used once it’s laced up. It took us longer than anticipated, so I’m patiently waiting too.. OK are they ready yet?![]()
now its done

any questions?
Wow! Simply gorgeous.
What are the costs of these?
Strange fitting with nuts between welded bracket and caliper mount !!!
If you have to ask, you can’t afford it.
MountainUni disk / crankset 159$ 129€
Triton disk mount frame 660$ / 489€
Brake Shimano SLX USA ? 95€ (shortened Bake tube)
Muni as shown: 1199$ / 899€
@bouin-bouin
yes it is, I got the frames one hour befor leaving for EUC and mounted the muni there. As you see I forgot washer and was not able to shorten the brake tube:o
that´s why you see the nuts…
the washers are necessary because of the different hub types / spacers
using a schlumpf hub you won´t need washers;)
USA: frames will be available soon at MountainUni.com…
woah, that looks gorgeous!
Wouldnt having that sharp and fast spinning disc outside the wheel pose a risk to unpretected legs though? ![]()
I could pawn my guni…
Ankle & Leg clearance
This should answer the clearance question posed. And leg armor is always a good idea to minimize either a skin related injury from a hot rotor, or an impact related injury to an ankle or otherwise. Keep your feet on the pedals and this instance would be near non-existent. Thanks to Jogi for posting pics of v2 Rotors!
