Can’t place it actually…Enlighten me.
Kit
it’s Hicks, about the original Gulf war
" and people say, yeah bill, but iraq has the 5th largest army in the world
yeah, maybe
but u know what?
after the first three, there a real big f’ing drop-off, ok?
the hare krishnas are the 4th largest army in the world, and they allready have our airports
who is the bigger threat?"
I do so dislike the idea of thread-jacking here but I’d like to make an off-topic comment. Raphael, I think you look more (Moore?) like Bruce than Michael Moore. What will REALLY scare you is to post side by side photos of me and Eleanor Roosevelt.
I believe it’s JJuggle, not JJungle.
Jeeezz! Give us a break. You may not be aware of this, but NOT EVERYDAY is the Fourth of July, you know.
No Thanks.
Yeah, Greg, it’s too bad that your comment is now off-topic in this thread.
B
That I would like to see.
Not if the president happens to have led you into an illegal war.
Yes, it’s very important to keep your security secure.
Kit
I wanted to remind you all of this post. It is from a man who is really there.
Thank you for your service, bombsquad. I think you deserve the last word on these matters, and that is because you are there in the thick of it.
I agree with everything you said.
'nuff said.
Ray
you misunderstand what I said. Look, I live very close to new york and I saw what those terrorists did. They attacked America.
When I said that it is easy for you to say from the safty of south africa, I did not mean to dishonor you or your country, I was speaking of distances between lands and perceptions.
Look, I remember during the 1980s whyen everyone here was picking on south africa because of the aparthyde policies of your government. A lot of people said pretty mean things about south africans, but I remember telling people at the time to cool down, that it is easy for us here in the safty of america to comment on the tulmutious happenings in south africa, to let the south africans figure it out themselves. It appears to me that south africa has done a really good job, and I congratulate you for it. So what I said was a misunderstanding, and I regret and bad feelings or perceptions of insults that you may have felt because I did not mean to insult you.[/B]

They lost the war. If you are comparing the USA to the Nazi German Riech, I would normally get angry because that is an outlandish comparison, especially since we defeated the nazis, thousands of americans died fighting them, but because you appear to be hurt by my earlier comment I will let it ride, for now.
USA vs Al Queda and their allies. Yes, two armies, 'nuff said.
It’s OK, I can take it.
Just straight street riding mostly in parking lots. I admit I am not very good, but I can freemount and turn. I ride a rusty old schwinn, and I was about to get the uni of my dreams, a torker dx, till my financial situation interfeared and now I have to wait a little longer. I am not a serious unicyclist, so I hesitated before getting involved in these forums because I am sure that most people here are better than me at it. My schwinn is a 24 inch wheel.
and not a word about the Geneva Convention
why am i not surprised
listen, my views on all these topics have been posted (too many times) on these fora before
u don’t add anything to the discussion
(except for a tantalisingly entertaining abillity to not understand your own examples and analogies and to misquote yourself:p )
if unicycling ability was a qualifying condition for posting here, i would’ve shut-up a long time ago
peace, out
and i too would like to see side-by-side pics of Harper and Eleanor baby
Forgive me, Mr. Harper and Ms. Roosevelt…

Uncanny. A striking resemblance. Greg, are you sure there’s not some deep seated history hidden behind that modern day facia we see everyday? Somehow, I get this fantastic impression that Eleanor must have had a daily afternoon sit-town of Twinkies and Thomas Kemper Root Beer.
LOL!
As much as I love the political threads here in the JC forum, I do believe that Mr. American Uni (or should I say Captain America,) is so far gone that his posts speak for themselves. To great hilarity:D .
Back on topic–whenever I’m in the UK, I always get people telling me that I look like Phil Silvers. I’m not sure how flattering that is…
I googled for quite a while but couldn’t find a photo of Eleanor in her swimsuit.
I, of course, accept your apology but did I just hear a former first lady roll over in her grave? You can see the problems I run into with this dilemma…especially among the very elderly who knew who sweet Eleanor was and have, well, limited visual acuity.
Those kinds of fantasies frighten me, Bruce.
You and Eleanor must have had great times together.
B
If you did you’d likelly find her with more clothing then she has on in the other picture.
I did find she made it into the Swimsuit Issue of Mental Floss but no luck on finding an on-line pic.
I, of course, being the very elderly here I presume?
