I can tell you about the last one - shipping is pretty fast. I ordered a couple unis from them this year and had them in about 2 weeks (they had to build the unis, got them about 4 days after final shipping). Be prepared to be slammed with tariffs, those came as charges I had to pay for UPS to release the packages for delivery.
For the rest, you might email them and ask directly if you don’t find out here.
I was also considering buying a URC frame recently… I have a wheel with a square taper hub lying around that I wanted to re-lace with an ISIS + disc brake hub, and if I’m going to do that I’ll need an ISIS compatible frame to go with it. Though I’m going to hold off on that until I finish my current project So far I’ve ordered almost exclusively through UDC USA so I also don’t have any experience with Mad4One/URC
The Super Comfy seat is great : narrow, almost flat, padded as required. However, it has a big drawback: screws protrude of the base (opposed to KH or Qu-ax saddles where nuts are in the saddle base and screws come from the outside). Thus, you can’t screw as many things you’d like to the saddle base. E.g., you can’t put a KH T-bar and its reinforcement plate, or a URSLI bar. That may not be an issue for you as you seem to want Nimbus Shadow Handlebars, but that may become an issue later on if you want to switch your gear.
@ManiusTerentiusPullus Hi, I bought a Mad 4 One flick flock 27.5 techno unicycle. Top quality all round, I could not fault it. Extremely well made and a thing of beauty. I opted for the handle saddle M which is perfect for muni. The handle saddle is super strong as the seat and handle are 1 thing, I dropped my free wheel hundreds of times practising and only 1 very small dent in it after 3 years.
Everything is made by M4O and top quality. Marco the owner gives top customer service and after care and advice.
I was always very very pleased with mine.
Saddle I bought the M4O std seat, but did not like that. The handle saddle takes a little getting used to as the seat it about half the length of a std une seat. All M40 parts are interchangable with nimbus, kris holm etc, seat post, saddle etc so other brand handles should fit.
Do you find the brake lever a bit too far from the handle? If so, you can install the brake lever mount in another direction to bring the lever closer to the handle. I’ve tried both directions and prefer the opposite direction of yours, but I still hope the lever can be even closer to the handle.
Thank you for all your feedback! For the Super comfy saddle, is it possible to add on the Mad Extension, making a DIY handle saddle? And is the Handle Saddle S good for distance riding comfortable, and the handle long enough?
@ManiusTerentiusPullus The M4O handle saddle S is small. About the same length as a std nimbus/kris holm Saddle, total length.
The handle saddle M is a little longer, see piccy.
For road the longest is, handle saddle L. My mate has one for his 36er.
Persaonally the handle saddle M is long enough.
Handle Saddle M vs Nimbus Stadium Saddle for size, not much in it, so the S is going to be small. Also picture of my 29er with handle saddle M
@Syoten you can adjust most levers to bring them closer to the saddle or handle saddle. Shimano and hope both adjust. There is usually a small allen key bolt under the lever, that you can move in and out, or it can be on the top of the lever, see photo.
Hope brakes, you can adjust reach and biting point, which I find really useful, see photo. The hope lever, the front adjusts reach and the back biting point.
The Mad Extension only goes onto a HandleSaddle. The product you’re looking for is called “URSLI bar”. It is in fact on the same page as the Mad Extension, but it is not the same product - yes, that’s a bit strange. As I’ve said previously, it would probably not work as the screws protruding from the saddle are probably too small
Okay, I kind of see that now. But what about the front and back bolts that do not hold the post? Could I still add on the URSLI bar? Or should I just get a Handle Saddle, and if I do, would the S be sufficient?
Same nuts, so probably same screws. Not long enough to screw a bar there.
The HandleSaddle would be a solution. The S version is probably too short. You should go for the M version instead.
@Syoten if you have the brake centrally mounted, you can always just mount directly onto the bars, you will just have to remove some tape on the side you preffer. See piccy
@ManiusTerentiusPullus M4O seat post std is 27.2 I believe, however M4O do sell a 25.4 also.
So a une from M4O will always be 27.2, but you can buy a M4O seatpost to fit Nimbus and other unes that have qa 25.4.
