Any other unicyclists from London Ontario on here?
I saw one on the bus just as i was getting off today, but dunno who he is. Even if you’re not the dude on the bus, if you’re from london, REPLY! plz.
London Ontario is not a question. At least to people who’ve heard of it. With 38 posts under your belt, it’s time to be reminded to please put the question in the thread title, so people like me don’t waste their time (and annoy you with posts like these).
I do know at least one unicyclist in London. Brian? He posts here, or used to. There are plenty of Ontario unicyclists that should be able to help.
I think Brian MacKenzie moved around the time canadianunicycling.com died. Haven’t heard anything since.
My advice for meeting other unicyclists is to be seen unicycling around, wear a unicycle shirt, Put a unicycle sticker on your laptop etc. I met another unicyclist yesterday at the library because of my UDC sticker prominently displayed on my laptop.
It turns out he was real oldschool and was the guy who got Marcus and John into unicycling and they got my friend Tom into unicycling who in turn got me into it. I in turn got Marcus and John interested in Xtracycles and they sold one to the guy I just met. Funny how the world works. He is in a way responsible for me unicycling and I am partially responsible for him getting a sweet cargo-bike (or Sport Utility Bike as the people at Xtracycle like to call it).
Sorry that got a bit off topic. I am sure you will find someone to ride with eventually. London is not exactly small. If all else fails get a friend hooked so you have someone to ride with.

There used to be a club in London, but I dunno if it still exists or not. Google! Doh… their website appears to no longer exist
