I was just thinking if the uncycle has evolved to a stage that people who haven`t have any contact with the circus or juggling activitie would be interested in it. In Brazil every unicyclist, even the ones that unicycle just for sport, is a juggler or anything else related to circus… How about in the rest of the world?

I dont think this is the case any more, I got into it through my dad who is a circus skills tutor/performer/entertainer what ever but I think most people just get into it and then learn juggling because they are the same interest crowds and you will see alot of the same people at uni meets as you will at juggling ones
I can juggle, but it has nothing to do with circus. I’m not related to circus at all. Juggling came before unicycling, and I was never very good. (as in I could almost do a 3 ball cascade indefinetely.)
I’m not related to the circus or juggling, I unicycle for the exersise and because it is so much fun!
I really want to say “No we aren’t all clowns and we don’t like to be called circus performers”, but I can juggle. I really wish I couldn’t.

what I meant about been related to circus is like: how have you known about unicycling? here everyone had this contact with the circus.
but is really cool when they ask you that and you say: “yes I can juggle five balls”
I unicycle and have a dancing Bear. He also counts, does addition, and can read words up to 5 letters. My home has been called a 3-ring circus, although we don’t perform.

Never heard that one. Must be in another part of Britian. Round here we unicyclists juggle our balls (or clubs), just like everyone else. And yes, I learnt to unicycle in relation to circus. But I know about 3 people who didn’t.

Circuses are for clowns. I am not a clown. Clowns are scary people who eat little children. I don’t do that. I unicycle cause it’s cool, and good exercise, and challenging, and fun as hell.
