Ipod to psp?

does anybody know if you can connect your ipod to your psp through that usb mini-b port and then listen to the songs you have on your ipod through your psp?

Why, does the PSP have better “speakers” than the iPod?

I suppose you would need something that goes from the headphone jack on the iPod to the input plug on the PSP.

And a reason for doing this.

no like instead of connecting the ipod to a computer connect it to the psp, to like watch movies through it.

I think new iPods come with a video out cable, that allows you to plug into a TV (red, white, yellow RCA plugs). The question is, how does the PSP take in video signals for display? It sounds like it would be a multi-step process.

At least now you’re making a little more sense. Watching video on a slightly larger screen I can see. What’s the size difference in those screens? I think the iPod is 2.5". I’d rather go straight to a TV, but if you don’t have a TV handy it makes even more sense…

the psp takes USB 2.0 mini-b
and i have a 3rd gen ipod

Instead of playing threw just re save the songs on the PSPs memery stick.

Once again a sign that the ipod isn’t nearly as good as people think it is. If you had a gmini 400/402 you could just stick the card in the card reader and swap your songs, and you can even (with a bit of effort) swap the hard drive for a bigger one./end anti ipod rant

sorry I’m not an archos stock owner or anything just it seems that people don’t even think about the alternatives to ipod’s before they buy them, or the usefulness of the products. Although you might have so I should save my anti ipod rants for true ipod fanboys.

I would imagine that what you are thinking would be possible but you might have to search very hard for that cable.
