How much have you spent on unicycling?????

This thread is an extremely bad idea. Addicts usually hide the trail of destruction they leave in their wake. Besides, by not totaling the expenses, I can stay in denial for a longer time. I will not post my total expenses for fear of the information falling into my wife’s hands. However, I have never regretted my unicycle extravagances - only my economies.

Two or three thousand United States Dollars probably, over the course of 30 years now.

Went through lots of parts on the original Giraffe I had.
And two new uni’s bought this past year or two.

How much have you MADE unicycling??

Easily over a million dollars, no joke.

(and I have nothing to show for it but some unicycles)

All of those threads are over a year old. I wasn’t looking for some specific fact or nugget of information otherwise I would have used the search function. Its just interesting to see how much the community spends on the sport when you add it up.

Catching up to me

Boy, you kids don’t know anything about blowing money LOL

Blowing money is when you have nothing left to show for it. That’s when you will get that serious pit in your brain and wallet that makes you know deep down into your now emptied of marrow bones that you have lost.:frowning:

I won’t go into detail, the 15,000 $ fishing boat I worked on for hundreds of hours and packed with 1000’s of $ gear, disappeared. Gone. I want to forget.:frowning:

The motorcycles I lost in a salt water flood. No body cares about my bad “investments.”

I am sure I have at least 2000 $ in unis, maybe more. I have only "blown " 2 tires. The rest of the gear is still there ! And money spent on tires is always the smartest money you can spend. I don’t care what you are riding.

I have lost 30 lbs since I started riding, and use the uni often instead of the much more expensive motorcycles, with their tires that cost 15 x as much to replace, and are 10 x more a pain to swap out .

I am sure uni riding is saving me money !

More then 3k

But I’d gladly sell an arm and a leg to unicycle.

I just thought I’d mention that’s in NZ dollars. 0.7 NZD = 1 USD.

If you only have one unicycle you must break a lot of parts :S
